I currently have

23GTT - (2 and 3 in japanese is neesan)

ILL34 - lame but I like it

YLD34 - wild34

What else spring to your mind with the 3 letters 2 number configuration or 2 numbers 3 letters?

Secure the thing before worrying about any mods. No point building it and then not being able to find it. It's a shit situation to be in and it has hit a few people this year. Think there was 4-5 in a fortnight at one stage.

Yeah touchwood it doesn't happen to me, I guess the next question is does anyone know a guy who does alarm and Immobiliser systems for a good price on the north side of Brisbane

Chris Rogers is your man. See him if you want to see just how easy your car is to steal. Then he will hook you up with am alarm to avoid such events

Chris Rogers from audio express. Look a few posts up. He's one of the best auto Leckys in Australia. And he's north side.

Chris 100% if you haven't already got the drift !!

Just had him install one on my gtr v-spec 33 and very happy and impressed. Happy to show you the system and how good it is too if ya want just pm me.

YLD34 is my choice, looks tough

I never understood haveing the cars name on plates ie r34gtt or Holden, Torana, HSV GTS

People know what type of car it is, get something unique

The majority of joe public thought my car was a gtr.....hence the plates.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
