Rebuild Gtr Front Diff

Hey

I recently just had my sump extended and pull apart the front diff.. I now need someone who can put it back together for me with all new seals

can anyone recommend someone in Sydney?

Terry at Award Gearbox and Diffs in Seven Hills does a lot of good skyline diff work at a good price. They've done gearboxes and diffs for me in the past

Yeah mate, terry at award, he did the quaife in my front and it runs beautifully

just got a price off them now.. how the bills just add up and up.. its never just a simple task of extending a sump

Are you going to be putting an aftermarket centre in it? I would highly suggest considering it.

About $1,300-$1,400 ish landed, depending on exchange rates.

By the time it was landed, roughly $1,300. I got bummed by customs .

Either way, couldn't care.

If I ever bought a standard GTR again, first mods would be diffs.

Just out of curiosity what is the benefit of adding an aftermarket diff to the GT-R and how does it behave with Tarzans G-box?

It's a geared limited slip diff for the front so imagine the back with a limo and how much better it grips now add to that one in the front so now you have all 4 wheels trying to move the car forward instead of 3

The Tarzan controller like most of them is a way of tricking the computer to active the 4WD faster and harder making the front wheel come in sooner with more torque, then add to that the transfer case mod and this things really start moving
