Maybe you guys would like me to tell some Nigerian princes about this place and they too can do business here too?

It seems you've had a fair old time to have a look into one of the forum members, jet2nv. Nothing much has really happened, and he's still a member. The threads have been locked. There's no public way of discussing the situation. So, let's explore the magic which is accepting a little bit of accountability.

I know some people don't want to dig through pages and pages of material at times, so I'm going to show you all a fun game, with links throughout.

Let's all play a game of pretend.

Let's all pretend that Jet2nv is not, in fact, Jayson Scott Francis. While we're at it, we'll also pretend that he's not a whole bunch of other usernames at other forums (including Jet31), and that he provided genuine, reasonable explanations as to why they use his name, telephone number and email addresses if its not him http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/?p=7321651

Let's also pretend that he's not the very same jet31, who was banned from this forum in 2010. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/236689-vic-2-16-gb-3g-iphones/?hl=%2Bjet31#entry4144646

And while we're at it let's also pretend that someone he tried to rip off on eBay didn't track him down to this site back around those days... after it appears he must've just forgotten to refund someone for a Christmas present they never got, using an account he ran in his dear old mum's name. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/348521-vic-samsung-galaxy-s-500/

In doing so, let's further pretend that Jet2nv did not attempt to later sell the Jet31 plates on this forum. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/384510-vic-turbohr31s13-bits-n-pieces/?hl=%2Bjet31

And also, let's not forget to pretend that when asked about rolling the vehicle with the rego Jet 31, he didn't admit it was his car, and that he was in it back here. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/page-3#entry7322333

Completely cast out of your mind the fact that after it was directly linked to on a thread on this very board, Jase deleted all the photos tying him publicly to the r31 Skyline with the Victorian rego JET 31, and changed his Facebook name from Jet Francis to Zuka sum f*ckwit Francis. (those who want to look him up can still find him here - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1335391744)

Let's pretend that Jayson's own brother (Your own BROTHER tipped you in Jase? How low down do you have to be?) fully identified him by name as a scammer operating on other car forums last year. http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showpost.php?p=2996170&postcount=96

Let's also pretend that when we go back in time to 2008, Jayson, the white series 3 passage driving bloke warned of over at R31 Skyline Club back for running repeateded scams, who somehow, by some amazing coincidence, had the same mobile number as Jase at that time, despite matching his description/name and being from the same area of Melbourne, is also not him. http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=108633.0

Let's now pretend that an independent and established member of the Skyline community has not come out and publicly accused him of an outright theft, not just scamming. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/page-5#entry7323614

Let's also pretend that he didn't send turbo which mysteriously showed up cracked with a very questionable timeline along with it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/?p=7328516 and http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/?p=7328883

Let's now pretend that back when the evidence wasn't the size of a mountain, Jase himself indicated his desire to assist any police investigation into his conduct in any way he could. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/page-5#entry7323629

And now we'll also pretend that Jayson sent hy_rpm a fuel pump he was paid for.

But let's stop pretending there. Jase himself said a month ago that he would produce a receipt for the postage of the pump. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441101-fs-brand-new-kinugawa-kando-t67-billet/?p=7322350 But ladies and gentlemen, if you ask hy_rpm himself, he'll tell you... that fuel pump never showed. And later on, Jase was asked to get on the record the location of the post office he sent it from - something he knows he can't do, as when/if this becomes a police investigation, it'll all be over before it starts.

Admins, I'm calling you out. What more information does it take to justify some action, or, shock and horror, a ban, against someone who has been stealing from members of this community and the public in general for 7 years? Whose sister do you have to nail on a one night stand to get the blood pumping around here?

Don't turn your mind to the mountain of evidence before your eyes. Ignore the fact that this guy has operated under your noses for years - you let him scam here, unwittingly or otherwise. Instead, do something about it - simply ask Jase to produce evidence he posted the fuel pump.

And when he doesn't, instead of letting people like this get away with screwing people over, do something about it.

Mate, if you've been been hard done by, go to the police about it and get it dealt with... Stop with the forum vigilantism and "Calling out" admins / moderators who this has nothing to do with...

I admit most of the stuff you're saying he's done does make him sound very sus, so take it up with the relevant authorities and get it resolved.

I also hate the whiny bitching. But, if you read it, its pretty well thought out, and also it isn't that whiny.

But ultimately, what's a forum admin going to do?

This guy clearly has enough wits about him to re-register after being banned. What would it accomplish anyway? Clearly mr copthis has done a fair amount of detective work, and the admins of SAU can't do anything more than he has.

TL:DR

I hate whiny bitches more...

No reason for you to be a 'whiny bitch', is there Scotty? You're doing alright being mates with this bloke or at least having him as a customer after all, right?

You never once, not ever, counter a single point made in the other thread when you popped your head in. And you even acknowledge 'feeling' for Cazz, who this puke stole from, because you know her well. But that doesn't stop you taking this bloke's money, does it?

I figure you wouldn't want your mate Jayson's reputation as a scammer getting out, considering there's a pretty solid possibility money he's taken off members here has gone into buying from you - wouldn't want a customer of yours either out of the money or in the lock up, right pal?... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/404975-fuel-setup-for-350rwkw-r33-rb25/?p=7326354

Whiny bitching? Where?

What's a forum admin going to do? Is that meant to be a rhetorical question?

I don't know - something other than nothing, for example. Maybe, perhaps, ban him, or put him on the very seldom updated list of bad traders, for starters?

quick question copthis..

why are you also trying to hide beind a forum?

no name

no details

and hiding behind a "fake" IP

do I agree with what the dude above done.

no

have you followed process rather than trying to make a big deal about this. had not last time so doubt now.

I guess the process has only been around for 9 years could be easy to miss

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/76463-rules-for-users-of-the-sau-classifieds-please-read-before-use/

ie read the 2nd post

have you taken this doco to the cops and sorted it out correctly, guessing not.

better question is in this for you.

all this effort to get one person banned from a forum you are not an active member of...I think not.

so fess up give us some details on you as well so we can work out how reliable the info is

Why am I concealing my identity? You would too if you knew what this bloke is like. I know more about him than I am prepared to post personally, but I don't need to put it up and risk him working out who I am - his reputation here and elsewhere is enough to show what kind of person he is. But more on that soon.

Seeing as Jayson apparently messaged at least one dissatisfied trader indicating that he'd simply have any negative feedback posted about his sales removed by an admin, it seemed reasonable to bring this out into the open, rather than risk it being quietly made to disappear - like he's been doing for years, and years, through a combination of bluff and selectively fixing problems.

Has this doco so far gone to the police? Have a good hard think about what the purpose of getting Jayson to rant and rave and then selectively refuse to answer key questions in the other thread if you like. Did you read that? Its only been there with its mountain of information a month. I guess not.

Finally, on the point of "give us some details on you as well so we can work out how reliable the info is". You don't need to know who I am, as it simply doesn't matter - my credibility isn't in question here. That was the beauty of engaging everyone's favourite puke scammer in an environment like this, in the way that I have. You can character assassinate me to your heart's content for protecting my privacy, because the reality is, I've not had to level any new information about Jayson AT ALL - I don't have to make things up or say they're true, no original research here on my part, everything else has been said by somebody else.

You don't have to take my posts/word for a SINGLE THING - its all there, in the words and avoidances of responses of Jayson himself, from users at multiple other forums, and even from members of this forum itself. It doesn't matter who I am. The info speaks for itself. And still, Jayson won't directly call me a liar, deny that accounts on multiple forums have been banned for scamming belonging to him, or threaten to sue me for defamation. Because its ALL true.

Yet again your 'research' is wrong, I haven't taken a cent of his money, and only met him for the first time last week.

You can't just keep making up crap^^ and posting it without proof, and if you had that you would be speaking to the authorities, not us. You are also making multiple posts about it, in every thread you can find. Sounds like a vendetta to me.

Why would I counter anything, It isn't my problem...

tl:dr

get over it.

    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
