jiffo
Probably not a structural complaint, but you can't have any sharp edges that might injure pedestrians. 89CAL
If it failed then it's a problem Exactly. Why is this a thread? 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448907-is-this-unroadworthy/#findComment-7394985 Share on other sites
Ben C34
Exactly. Why is this a thread? Cos people like to start threads that are either easily answered or already answered. Or spend ages writing stuff only to eventually actually look at the car and find a blown fuse or popped hose in 40 seconds. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448907-is-this-unroadworthy/#findComment-7394989 Share on other sites

Ben C34
Why didn't you just ask the guy that failed it? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448907-is-this-unroadworthy/#findComment-7395237 Share on other sites
MrStabby
Looks more like a dodgy rust or accident repair than guard rolling to me. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448907-is-this-unroadworthy/#findComment-7395461 Share on other sites
533 RYC
School holidays are here again! WooHoo!!! If you have rust like that, it will fail, regardless of whether it is structural or not. IT'S RUST!!!! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448907-is-this-unroadworthy/#findComment-7398507 Share on other sites
hardsteppa
I don't have a license to do roadworthy's but I've driven cars before and it looks fine to me. I think you should go back to him and let him know you have asked other people who haven't actually seen the car and been told it's ok and they should either pass it, or give you your money back on the RWC. You could also try the ol' "it's a factory option" line, but I don't know if it will work in this case... 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448907-is-this-unroadworthy/#findComment-7398575 Share on other sites
D.I.Y. Mik
Rust. Time for a paint job, cos you will have to cut it out and weld a new piece in there. You can cut a bit off a wreck or have it made by a panel beater. Youtube will teach you how to do it. Lots of good tutorials there.
