Piggaz
You have an auto. How can you "over rev it". The car changes gears for you. Ben C34
I missed the warranty comment until quoted. LOL. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450270-beer-rev-limiter-wiring-help-r34-gtt/page/2/#findComment-7418417 Share on other sites
re34perGTT
Yeah mate I know about the warranty that's why I wrote do a sneaky uninstall if something does happen aha. But I'm not going to be smashing the limiter all day for flames etc so the only thing I'm worried about is the ceramic wheel on my turbo. But if it does go I'm not too fussed as I'd like it high flowed some time and that would give me more of a reason too Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450270-beer-rev-limiter-wiring-help-r34-gtt/page/2/#findComment-7418472 Share on other sites

GTSBoy
This thread is f**ked. re34perGTT. Everything that Ben has told you about the capabilities of the factory ECU, the capabilities and usefulness of the Bee*r are all true. You don't need it. It can't do anything useful for you. You would be better putting it in the bin (so that you don't sell it to some cock stroker who will install it and break his shit) and spending some money on Nistuning your ECU. And if you need a flamey shooty douchebag rev limiter launch controller to get a near stock R34 auto off the liine without excessive wheelspin, you really should consider either learning to drive or buying a Corolla. re34perGTT
I'm just after which crank angle sensor wire and power wire to use from the ecu. And i got quoted $880 for a nistune install + tune and don't have the money and would rather get that done once more modifications are made like afm, injectors and turbo. Piggaz
You' won't have any money for AFM, injectors or turbo because you'll be replacing your engine with another one. Ben C34
Can you please provide more info on the warranty? Then we might help you kill your engine. re34perGTT
Covers the turbo for $1200 and engine block and all internals for like 2-3 k ? Something roughly. It's a $600 warranty a got for free when I bought the car and it's only done 120k's so I doubt anything will go wrong with it unless I do something. So may as well make the most of it ahah Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450270-beer-rev-limiter-wiring-help-r34-gtt/page/2/#findComment-7418570 Share on other sites
Ben C34
Ok. So this thread has at least 2 lessons for you. I have also realised I can't be helpful in this thread. I sort of want to but theres an overwhelming urge to stir a pot, that you have put infront of me. I'll just observe from here on.... re34perGTT
Yeah I'll probably only use it for 2-3 runs and maybe to chuck up a vid on YouTube for everyone then disconnect it but for now I'm just looking to put it in knowing fully well of what could happen Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/450270-beer-rev-limiter-wiring-help-r34-gtt/page/2/#findComment-7418601 Share on other sites
