RBN1
"These are early testing days, the rear driveshafts haven't been hooked up, so the whole system - internal combustion and flywheel - is driving the fronts alone. That's right, if they let the GT-R LM sing, it's a 1250bhp front-driver. And it might stay that way." http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/nissan-le-mans-racer-lmp1-gt-r-explained-2015-02-09 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/452932-wec-le-mans-2015/page/2/#findComment-7476619 Share on other sites

Poor kid was due to race at le Mans with but after a big crash at the Ring yesterday at Flugplatz his car jumped the fence and killed a spectator Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/452932-wec-le-mans-2015/page/2/#findComment-7505345 Share on other sites

niZmO_Man
Mark was out with gearbox issues. 1-Audi, 2-Porsche, 3-Toyota. Keep for Nissan to get in there and see how they go. They did well with the delta wing. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/452932-wec-le-mans-2015/page/2/#findComment-7515645 Share on other sites
NISMO
And the racing was pretty awesome across the whole 6 hours. Take note Bernie, this is how you set up interesting racing! Love the fact that you can approach the same category with such different cars. JAS-25T
The significant issue with WEC drawing TV crowds is the length of races. Only die hard fans can sit in front of TV for 6hrs minimum. otherwise great racing, tech etc. It's like comparing a cricket in T20 form VS Test Match. Ants
I think that F1 needs to take on board what WEC offers. More power, slightly longer races, allow for more technology blahblah Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/452932-wec-le-mans-2015/page/2/#findComment-7540705 Share on other sites
JAS-25T
Why? longer races wont fly. 2hrs is about the max most human beings can sit still without needing to stop their lives.
