Best pass for the car was 12.8. But my reaction time was 0.7sec lol noob. 177kph terminal. So 13.5. I had major troubles hooking it up and had really bad tramping and wheelspin. Never done the 1/4 before. I tried dropping it at 4000.then 3500. Then 3000. And 2500 like traffic lights. Had 34psi in those shit Achilles tyres so nuff said. Lesson learned. Any tips or advice? Apart from new tyres or lower psi learned that the hard way. It only has the tein basic coil overs when I got the car it was on the deck and hooked up ok and left 11's on the road, but i raised it to 100mm all round for the police jockey wheel. through lifting it it has compressed the springs and is hard as all round. I was a bit disappointed with the times but even with a very mild launch it just tramped all the way through 1/2 under not full pedal and hooked up in 3. Bummer. Virginal. I launched it hard on the way home and it just hooked up and went with a tiny bit of tramping perfect. I thought the track would have way more grip than the street but total opposite. Live and learn. Was driving it through the the d/s window a couple of times. It has a full hicas delete but is obvious the tyres are crap with too much psi. Bummer. 4 wins and 1 loss with no Sau sticker. I got torched off the line by nearly everyone but 18psi in 3/4 sorted it. Bit embarrassing but there you have it. No traction at all. I reckon even with 100kg of sand bags in the boot would have been sweet.

If you don't have 4wd you can't just dump it. Gotta be mean to the clutch.

Mickey Thompson et streets if you want to get off the line faster and a pair of rims to stick them on if you can't swap tyres cheap/easily.

If you can soften the rear it will help and or get some subframe bushes from Lachlan if you don't have aftermarket ones to help it squat.

Relatively cheap changes to get you leaving the line better.

Roughly every 0.1s you can reduce the 60 foot you will be 0.2s faster overall. So if your 60 foot is terrible as it sounds like it is, you can gain a lot by sorting that out.

@Hank Scorpio recommended camber arms brands? Thinking of getting Fast&Furious set for the 36 but not sure if the cost of getting it is of any benefit lol

My knees are ruined dude. I had the call from HR where they brought up the fact that it's permanent, and that they are still trying to "figure out" what to do.

We also had a shake-up with management in my store, so... we'll see where that leads.

    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
    • Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
