RR34GTT
Me being a new guy to this forum (learning as I go, a few parts behind you). Your parts list looks fine. Use the turbo upgrade thread to compare parts/power outputs etc. Basic mods lists have been asked a thousand times on this forum, so just make sure you do your research although i do understand myself being a new guy it's good to have confirmation from others. Injectors may be the only thing i'd take more of a look at depending on the PSI pressure you'll run. Additionally you'll want to know the spec of the fuel pump so you're aware of what it can/can't handle. Also maybe replace the manual boost tee with an EBC for higher boost? Others may be able to clarify a bit more on that one. As for the turbo Q, can't help as I have an R34 and so far that's as far as my knowledge goes! Best of luck. niZmO_Man
I'd make improvements to brakes and handling before chasing more power. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/462190-r33gtst-stock-upgrades-help-needed/#findComment-7667423 Share on other sites

SMiTHBRo
Post a pic of the turbo? If there is no actuator on it, it may be externally waste-gated. My only suggestion is to sell the PowerFC and have a Nistune installed, probably cost around the same but you will have the ability to run a flex sensor/E85 down the track. GTSBoy
I think he's asking more about how he hooks up the wastegate control signal. When I saw this thread several days ago I couldn't be bothered with trying to read through the mush of that last sentence. Perhaps some clarification of the exact meaning of the OP is required. Joer33gtstvic
Thanks for your help guys already yes it's a cheap China turbo how do I upload a photo ? Yes it's a just a internal gate with the acuator on the front the problem is the acuator has a line running off it back into the turbo so where do I hook up the vac line to? And with the fuel pressure on the add they say at stock fuel pressure you can support upto 600hp more than I'm wanting! And yes have already brought tein coilovers are stock gtst brakes bad ? Joer33gtstvic
At stock fuel pressure of (43.5psi) the injectors can support engines making up to 600hp (@ 80% duty) http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/121416178457 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/462190-r33gtst-stock-upgrades-help-needed/#findComment-7667540 Share on other sites
GTSBoy
The acuator has a line running off it back into the turbo This is correct and as expected. Why do you not do a simple google search for how to insert a boost controller into that? Hadouken
Put biggest turbo on it and run low boost for best reliability 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/462190-r33gtst-stock-upgrades-help-needed/#findComment-7667544 Share on other sites
SMiTHBRo
Run vacuum hose between the barb fitting on the turbo front cover and the actuator barb fitting. Just post a link to the turbo you actually bought....if its 430hp on there my money is on it being a t3/t4 thing. Dose Pipe Sutututu
Do yourself a favour and get rid of that China Racing Development turbo, either flog it off to someone on Drift Sales or throw it into the bin... that's the best advise I can honestly give you without being a total karnt. Joer33gtstvic
http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/200745050295 That is the turbo yes guys I know it's not the best I don't drive the car on a daily basis or anything it's just to get me going for the next 6-12 months till I've got the money for something nice! And thanks smithbro! So just run a T piece on that hose ? SMiTHBRo
No T piece required. Block off the original vacuum hose that fed the factory actuator. Plumb the piping exactly as the picture in your link shows. As stated China turbos aren't the best. But they do still work to a certain extent....I wouldn't be pushing it upto 20+ psi as per the ebay specs though.
