Mmmmmmn it looks GREAT in that colour... but... the jurys out on whether GT-R/GT-R face conversions are ok.... I don't know, what does everyone else think?

Btw, Funky, the S15 onevia conversion is a little old... maybe two years? Some other mob had a bright orange one way back with black rims etc, set up for drift. Can't remember who produced it though.

i think its just the square bits combined with the round bits.. i remember seeing that 33/34 on here before.. looks great too

but mmmm.. that onevia.. *cream* .. although it defeats the point a little of taking a banged up cheap car and sticking an expensive looking front on it

R34/R33 is gonne get more popular, coz URAS just mass producing the kits at very cheap prices. Also the R34 on R32 kit is gaining popularity too amongst the wierd but wonderful tuners.

Yeh the 34 front end on a 33 looks tough

Youd be starting arguments with people everywhere you drive 'Its a 33' 'thats not a 33!' 'Yeh it is look at the back' 'no its not, look at the front'

hehe

kit = fenders + inner front brace to attach the upgraded bumpers onto, headlight clips etc...

my bomex strawberry face kit had like 14 pieces in it. including new hood clips etc.

I managed to confuse people by sayin I had Australia's only S15 200sx hatchback. 180's weren't so popular back then, esp strawberryf aced ones ;) I got away with murder.

Hey Shan, the URAS "kit", do you have to find your own R34 GTR front bumper? Or do they make R34 GTR front bumpers that fit straight onto GT-T guards like East Bear? I've got a couple of options at the moment but East Bear might be the least hassle one, but could be quite expensive.

Could you possibly find out how much East Bear sell their 'GTS-R' kit for? probably just the front bumper at this stage, if you could find out the price and throw it on the next container, i will grant you 3 wishes :).

EDIT: just checked the east bear site, www.east-bear.co.jp and looks like they've updated their prices. Looks to be 103.950(99,000) yen (not sure what brackets are for) for the Front Bumper/Lower Spoiler, and something to do with the grille. Bout $1300 all up. How much extra will it cost to get it to my place?

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
