I should be able to get to your place around 6.30-7.00pm...im not even going to bother with my seat/lap timer, wheel alignment...there just isnt enough time. So provided there are no further delays in getting my car ready (ie bolt in and tune the engine) then ill be god to leave you place at around 7pm

7 PM works for me too. What do we want to bring along provisions-wise. Do we want to eat out mostly or try to do some cooking (other than the Barbie). Bacon and eggs on the barbie in the mornings works for me....pity we'll have to refrain from beer......

7pm is fine for me too. The place your staying at is about 500m walk from my mates place where we will be. Panorama Drive joins up to Sunland Drive. It's the next street. Well done Roy. You rock... only crawling distance away..

Just called the guy organising it, he said you can pay on the day - $140, at the moment ther eis about 40 people registered, he's guessing there will be about 60-80 total.

I'll be showing up on the day paying.

Hey guys. wont be down there for the weekend... tied up with other shit unfortunatly...

see if anyone can beat my time

Formula 3 - 1:27.4674... hahaha

I have given the racing up for the moment and might go back to it in a few years... So my new car is for sale... Dallara F302 with a Toms Toyota motor, fully sorted, Bosch Motronic ECU and PI data logger and dash.... $145,000 any takers????

Rugby? Damn I will be getting drunk out of shear boredom.

JL - its definitely on this weekend. There are a number of guys from here coming down on the Sunday to watch - so if you are interested in cruising down to have a look maybe you might want to cruise down with them?

UPDATE: I just rang Warren Reid, Event Co-Ordinator, he advised that no passengers will be allowed at this event. And if people want to film/take photos they must sign an indemnity which basically indemnifies the track of liability if filmers/photographers get injured/splattered by crazy drivers such as urselves, well Ferni anyway :)

All Good ferni, at least you wont have to get those Jesus bars re-enforced :)

Remind me to bring a chair & some Warm Clothes :P anyone got a Tripod for video camera?

whats the weather predicition ahh Min 9c Max 17c Shower or Two..

So the tuition you are allowed on Saturday is only from their driving instructors?

I thought you may be able to claim that a more experienced friend wants to ride shotgun to offer advise????? Oh well, a passenger around Wakefield is worth 0.8-1.0seconds a lap so who needs them anyway....actually i suppose a good instructor can be worth up to 5 seconds a lap.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
