Hey guys :)

I have these stains on my seats that I can't get out on my R34. what do you guys use for cleaning on seats?

And also, how can I get these scratches off the radio surround plastic panels? I looks kinda deep like it was scratched with a screw driver from previous owners.

Heat gun should work on the scratches. But may cause more damage if not done with care...

The seat needs a wet extraction vac, those carpet cleaners that you can hire from supermarkets work fine

Someone looks like they had a blast on that seat and couldn't hold on to anything so he scratched your panel and left a big happy ending stain. USE SCOTCH GAURD AND RUB IT OFF WITH A CLOTH, or any carpet cleaner from a AUTOSHOP !! The scratches looks bad :( just pull the panel out and like wrap it with carbon fibre or some sort

I had  the same problem with the seats on the 34 when I had stock seats. You do so much as rest a cold can of coke there for half a second and suddenly you have that ugly mark.

I was able to remove it with just your common autobarn-esque type of interior seat cleaner, it actually responded pretty well. As for the scratches I have similar problem and the surround and gearbox is like $80 but I am interested in the heat gun method too if it can be better explained.

One of those things that makes the car look awful during the day but looks fine at night :P

A commercial automotive trimmer or upholsterer will know what solutions to use because they have them.

For seats, I've just used Polyglaze Upholstery Cleaner or a brand of Carpet cleaning agent.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
