Hey guys just curious I'm going to be doing a service on my car (R33 gtst, closing in on 145xxx K's), changing all the fluids and oils so I know 100% what's been done with and to my car. My question is how do I know what viscosity the oil's should be and what?

What have you guys used and seen responds well with your car?

I'll be doing the Engine oil, Coolant, Diff oil, Clutch fluid, Brake fluid/flush, Transmission oil.

Most owners use 10w-40 viscosity.

Yeah there is a thread in this section I believe (think it is stickied at the top) called 'the goods on oils' that is a pretty good guide to engine oils. Im using penrite 10 tenths 10w-40 engine oil, redline lightweight shockproof in the gearbox (manual), castrol syntrax (i think) in the diff, kenworth all-cool coolant (because its free for me) and have wilwood brake oil in the brake and clutch im pretty sure

Basically go to your local parts store and pick up a Nulon or Penrite 10W-40.

And you can use royal purple or motul or any fancy oil you want...........but it is unlikely that you or your car will notice any difference from a good quality oil from penrite/castrol/etc etc

But its a personal choice.
