RC-F or something?

I like the Q60 Red sport, but the depreciation on a brand new luxury car would be pretty horrendous.

Sure, cars costs money, but I am too much of a jew to to piss that kind cash up the wall. Would rather have 2 cars instead.

Lexus (RC-F) much heavier with less torque available and a smaller power band with a conventional auto =\

Doesn't seem that appealing, but as with everything hard to know unless you drive it.

Conventional auto more appealing to me. Easier to service/maintain, and youre not completely f**ked and relying on dealerships if something goes wrong. If its a bit sluggish, someone probably makes a shift kit for them. Bobs your uncle.

Look at us being all old and discussing autos lol

That's how I know I'm old...

I hate autos as much as the next broad minded person. But when you like a car and it only comes in auto... Do what you gotta do

Just quietly the M4 is a ground up built road car, that they have "tweaked" into a performance car.

The GTR was a ground up build to go around a track as fast as possible, whilst being street legal.

Yeah I get that, they're very different cars. It's more an indication of my changing tastes.

As has been pointed out before though, by Leeroy I think, I talk a lot and am very indecisive. While all this was going on I was still buying parts for the 34 an just dropped it off to the tuner yesterday so I'm not "sold' on any 1 direction.

I'll just keep trying to win lotto :)

Hah, nah the 1 and 2 series don't do it for me.

I did consider selling the 34, selling the S13 and just buying a really well developed track car and a good trailer :D

The 1 series M that i got to drive was better than the M3 that i drove of the same era ;)

I got some good feedback on the M2 and admittedly haven't driven it because aesthetically it doesn't stir my loins.

fair enough, aesthetics are important.

I got a 2013 c63 with performance pack for the mrs back in January. This thing has no problems keeping up with 350kw gtr's. You will love the low down tourqe (as this is what sold me on it in the first place). Sounds heaps better than an m4 and is practical with 4 doors. Take one for a drive if you enjoyed the r35 power delivery.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
