The E-Charger. What do you think?

Basically it drives the car by turning the crank. Needs room for the unit, and room for the drive belts.

How much does it cost? Would like to see dyno figures to see just how much extra power it generates!

Yeah, it's not going to fit into any car made since the 90s really - except F trucks and the like.  There's not enough room in the engine bay for something that chunky, and typical FWD chassis are only worse.  Think about trying to put a big 3-4" supercharger pulley on the front end of a FWD engine in the 3mm gap between the existing one and the chassis rail.

The reality is that this is a very niche product.  For that market, it's great.  For the general market, not so much.  There's a reason why real hybrids either sandwich the e-motor between the engine and transmission or go the whole hog and use wheel motors.  Packaging.

Sounds like you have experience with trying to install a supercharger kit. Its hard enough to fit your arm into a skyline engine bay to change an oil filter.

Yes, but not in the way that you might think.  Superchargers into old Celicas and stuff, yes.  I have never (and will never) attempt to improve a FWD shitter.  Been in too many fast Cordias back in the day to want to relive those nightmares.

Hehe, i actually have a penchant for eg civics but will never work one one or build one. 

Ive never driven, nor know much about cordias but ill check them out on youtube.

Interesting.. Less fuel and provide more power as the normal gasoline engine. The question i have in my does it will take longer as the normal engine? meaning the life of this echarger in terms of cost wisely in long run and can we still have the option to use the normal gasoline in case of out of charge while driving? Those questions i have in mind right now.

      I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

      My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.

      So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
