:)

its great to see a few workshop owners joining the club too, so lets support them in return.

now if only there was a skylinesaustralia sticker on single race car with a working engine....one day.....

Wasn't hard either and It feels great.

Seriously though this forum is by far the biggest and the best and pleased to now be even more part of it. I am involved with Zed, Soarer, Silvia and FTO forums. I give much praise to the guys who run this beast. Keep up the great work.

I promise to turn up to SAU group hugs in the future.

I started with a zedTT way back in 96 then a few more then in 98 got one of the first R33 GTS-T's in Sydney back before they were known and not stollen either, then got another zed and made a track car out of it, but yes it is becoming more GTRish with parts everyday. Lots of GTR internal parts now mainly Tomei and thanks to Nissan, they fit.

Yes Duncan the sticker will get out to the track soon bigger and better. Is yours out again yet?? Really looking forward to having some fun with your GTR and others. It might confuse the Zed forum guys who I don't have one of their stickers on by the way. I will though on my Fat Slot car ZEDGTR.

PS It will be out at Drift Nationals 5th September and our track day 12th September both at Oran.

Watch out for the Gloria boiz - It got the full UAS makeover on Satuday and is going like a rocket ship.

Platinum plugs, new oil, new oil filter and fuel filter - loody fangs mate.

Whilst up on the hoist, much discussion about ow to fit an intercooler (yes that's right no cooler) - Buit I reckon a 50 HP shot of NOS would be more cost effective.

Nah - NOS - go the NOS - I reckon the VG20DET must have a lot of meat on her , since they turned it into a VG30 DET(T) - Same tranmission as a VG30 - so can handle the grunt.

Maybe a 75 HP shot - with 6 NOS nozzles, one into each cylinder runner

Weld up the diff

Run a flat 9.0 sec - Yeah baby

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
