Hey all.

It’s been a while since paying any interest to my old hobby.

I am looking at selling my R32 but have no idea what it’s worth.

can anyone offer genuine advice and of what my car is worth.

The car has been driven a no more than 50kms in the last 6 years, it has 93000kms on the clock

1993 R32

Rb30 soc running 19psi

Forged pistons

Hbeam rods

gt35/40 turbo

50mm waste gate

Eboost2

Custom plenm

Big intercooler

3” stainless exhaust turbo back

wade stage 2 cam

Microtec lt10s ecu with dash

M&W pro10 cdi & fireball coil

Fuel lab regulator

880cc injectors

All new high temp spark plugs and leads

Bosh 044 fuel pump with surge tank

rb25 gearbox

1000hp clutch

one price tail shaft

longer diff gears

The car was painted 13 years ago and had lived in a garage the whole time I have owned it ( 17 years ) there are a few scratches and dints but nothing major.

I am sure there is more but can’t remember.

Thanks in advance fellas.

It's 2020. All Skylines are worth $100k.

- Non turbo R32 GTS that's been outside and hasn't been turned over in a decade? $30k
- 1994 R33 GTST Automatic with ebay parts and Nismo dash? $25k
- 1989 GTR 32 with 300k kms and 'Jasma' brand exhaust $50k
- 1995 R33 GTR, white with yellowed headlights $65k

The world's gone nuts. Ask what you want for it, there are plenty of dummies out there who'll pay $30k+ for it.

Not saying it's a bad car, it's actually very nice and I like it. But the market is dumb right now, take advantage of it.

Thanks for the replies fellas.

Well i didn't think they would be worth that much but i guess they are worth what people are willing to pay..... I would be happy to get $30k!!!!!

In regards to the power, i cant remember but it was around the 500hp mark last time i had it on the dyno a few years back.

Over the next few months i will be getting it tuned and cleaned up for sale so i will report back when i know.

I appreciate all the feed back.

Marketed right, 30k minimum in this market

In 5 years time it won't be worth half that

Disclaimer: I'm old, jaded and dumb

A market can’t really be dumb...cars are simply worth what someone is willing to pay. But someone can definitely be upset at the market when they can’t afford what they want ;)

I'm upset with the market because I would prefer it if my car was still worth $10k instead of probably $30k. Given that I am never going to sell it, the "value" now does me no benefit now, never will, and only actually causes me problems (insurance will cost more, replacing it should it get damaged will be impossible, mongs will want to steal it more than they did 5 years ago, etc etc).

I’m in the same boat with an R33 GTR...so I know the financial burden gentrification of the classic vehicle creates...nonetheless, that’s an incredibly first world problem to have 😉

    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
    • I couldn't agree more. I should have started from the get-go with a NEO or solid bucket conversion. I started looking into converting over to solid lifters yesterday. • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
