Mine never wanted to drive it until this weekend.

I kept asking if she wanted to drive it and she always said no.

Now I'm wrapped. She also wants to buy either an RX-8 or a 350Z.

guess what I want her to buy!!

The 350.

She wasn't really into cars at all until she saw the RX-8 and then I showed her the 350Z against it. Loved it.

Then, as if a sign from the God's of the road, we saw a FAT ARSE 350Z sporting 21 inch rims and a fat kit, dumped. She just about lost her lunch and so did I. Damn sexy car!

Unless I can get my enginerring certificate by then I don't think I will be able to make it. Have been let down BIG TIME by people who imported my car. I'm starting the whole process again through another mob. Was really looking forward to it.

:(

this will be an offical cruise and as such im assuming this will be covered by cams? so if people have RP regos or CH they can bring them? :(

Is there any way to attend if car is not registered? What is a RP rego or CH?

I got this form Vic Roads website, does tis get covered in our membership fees?

http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vrne/vrnint...nDocument&Area=[Online+Information+%26+Services] Look at club permits.

Can't upload for some reason... probably because I'm using my Mac @ work?

I would not reccomend driving an unregistered car on a cruise at all, I was fined $500 for breaking the rules of my permit and you car will not be covered by TAC etc. Big no no. Hitch a ride with another member and just rememebr there will be plenty of cruises, it's almost summer. I missed the last 2 waiting for my car so I know how u feel.

Bringing an unregistered car to a CLUB CRUISE does not promote a good image towards SAU VIC and it's responsible members. On behalf of the committee, and other club members, i ask you to leave the car at home and hitch a ride with another member.

As Adam has stated, there will be heaps more events/cruises since summer has started , and i hope to see you registered car then.

Who drives cars on permits to cruises :)

if the weather is anything like the past few days, this is going to be a ripper.

I'll hitch rides with people throughout the day, try and meet a few newer members if possible.

Hopefully some have a few spare seats :D

I think you just answered yourself Ash... "The trusty FORD KC Laser has a GTR heart, no longer lacks a bit of power" :)

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
