Last thursday I saw a Silver Axis on South Rd, then later on I spotted a yellow C34 (Possibly Dayz kit).. maybe Dave? I wasnt driving, and only saw you at the last second.

If it was in the arvo it might have been me goin to work ( the yellow 34 )

saw 2 Stageas today in Launceston, first one was a white one at the corner of Kings Meadows road and the Midland Highway, they waved. Second one was a silver one parked near Cataract Gorge. think they were both series 2's

Saw one of you Stagea owners at Old Toongabbie near the TLC.

SAU stickers on your car. Very nice, very clean ride you have :) I like it a lot.

Do you live in the area, Skittles? I'm not far from there either.

is it an aero kit with AM rims?

i think ive seen it on dandy frankston. a chick!

Only saw the rear of it whilst passing on the adjacent road, but no Aero spoiler on the back and I don't think it had the Aero rear bumper (although it may have - poor memory + 1-2 second glance)

yeh you cant do what your thinking of doing to it. lol

back on topic

Saw a series1 (i think) white one at about 3.45 towards S.E subs on kings way yesterday could only see the rear of it.. stock bar i think tried to catch up but you vanished and I was stuck at lights.

    • all brand new unit from Tomei, fluid, bearings, etc. Tomei said they call it a 1.5 lsd because its 100 percent lock up under acceleration and 50 percent under deacceleration.  as I mentioned I used their fluid, install and their break-in procedure, (alot of figure 8's) but even when driving straight, or even slowly backing out of garage for first time, (at 2 mph) then driving to and from figure 8 parking lot, each tire in the rear would sporadically grab, skip, bounce, shutter and skip, shutter back a force I could feel causing clutch to slip then grab, at any speed. shaking entire car. I removed unit, since I put stock back in and all is fine, via process of elimination, its something with the lsd unit itself. I wasn't going to beat up the entire car more or change anything else for no reason as I had a feeling something in the lsd itself was wrong as everything was fine before this alone was installed and I rechecked over everything else after first time backing out I suspected an issue. I'll probably sadly already need new tires now just from trying to drive it 5 miles and performing the figure 8 break in. but if someone has any ideas I'm all ears
    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
