Trick is to book it direct and not through a coupon type website (ie, redballoon). Unfortunately we made that mistake an found out on the day that I would have had a longer flight and paid less if i booked it directly through the company. Company we did it with was Professional Helicopter Se

That's who I had my 1 hour trial lession with.... 43 minutes of "stick" time for about $320... Also used a Schweizer 300 with proper controls and not some R22 Y yoke thing...

Need to do it again soon...

That was me . Sorry didn't spot you back. Would have been on my way to or back from Moorabin airport for my Trial Helicopter Flight (ps, anyone whose thinking about doing it, DO IT, amazing experience).

Hmm funny, my wife's uncle took me up for a flight in his chopper a few months back. Along the coast down to Mornington. Was ok but got a bit meh towardss to end.

I'm sure flying it 1st hand makes a huge difference. I know I enjoyed my stick time in a cessna when I was younger....
