Wow. With 1 question I broke the Wasteland. :(

After reading all that, I'm too drained to comment, but I do think that some Informed Exposure is better than Being Blindfolded.

But there are limits and as everyones opinions and sense of morals are different, those limits are undefined and open to interpretation...

My son used to watch Southpark until he was heard saying "White Power, White Power..."

Similarly he used to play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas until he Found the big Purple Dildo. (he thought it was a plastic sword) So Cute.

These incidents were when he was under the age of 10.

I do like pie.

Group hug?

:3some:

Something to do with a Gimp Suit ... I never finished all the missions.

I'm sure some of the gamers will know. :)

ohhh memories I remember that mission when CJ had to kill some dude to take the costume off him, and then used it to impress the girl. I used to love GTA San Andreas.

Hey guys, i was thinking about the piles of parts i dont want anymore,

and maybe we could get all our sht together and have a stall at a swap meet or trash n treasure,

then put the proceeds towards something good. what to do , i dunno but i wont miss all that stuff thats for sure.

Oh also Shell you backed up another one of my points - you older folk didn't have exposure to the same things we do, so what makes you think your opinion is more correct than ours given we're the ones with the first hand experience of being raised with violent vidya gamz

Another edit: how the hell was that post any better than my last one I got called out for???? I'd say it was written in the same tone lol...maybe I'm just really shit at making my point clear, and only now it's starting to make a bit more sense to people what I'm actually trying to say lol

Im pretty sure im around the same age as you Troy and grew up with roughly the same things.

I was able to play any game as a kid like drug son of rajab 2, gta, call of duty ect doesnt make me desensitize by the violence, it allows me to know right from wrong.

Being a parent and ex defence I have a rough idea on what issues come with both jobs/tasks.

Its not easy and it affects each person differently. I've been through courses with people who say loses a love one overseas and see how they cope.

You just have to be there for them and give them any help that is possible.

No one knows the answers or makes the right decisions when they have to but its what you learn from them.

I think we all need to get together and have a BBQ so we can all relax.

p.s wait till i get my car back lol

3 phases of progression through life

Information, Knowledge/Experience and then Wisdom

for those who may be wondering why I haven't contributed to this discussion (unlike me, :P got an opinion on everything)

Look at your comments and decide which category you fall in

Not me. Not a fan of Zombies. I am Legend was enough for me haha

edit: As Kat said above, I have heard that the show is really good. Just not a fan of "fright scenes".

    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
    • Thanks for the replies everyone. Definitely a coolant push. Oil catch can is empty and always has been. As the engine is out now I'll be having a good look over things. I do have some detonation on the piston tops from a trigger issue back about 5 years ago. I felt it and shut off then bought a new ecu and changed the trigger. Never been an issue since. It never hurt the power, its made almost 80hp more since that incident but I will pull the bearing caps to take a look. If the bearings are damaged I will do a bottom end refresh. Head is being re conditioned at the moment and the block will be cleaned and checked to ensure it's flat. I'll go with a kameari gasket and see how it ends up. The other thing I'm not super keen on is the cylinder colours. I suspect this is from the inlet manifold. The plan will be to put it back together, retune and then stick a plazmaman billet inlet on it and retune. I'm happy with the power, if it makes a little more, then great, but I would rather just make everything more efficient at this stage.
    • Maybe they'll look to do a bunch of presales to help inject some cash fast for their financial issues...
    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
