Im not expecting a big response to this but Im going to put it out there anyway...

Who remembers the days when we used to all gather at Jerra Pub for Trivia on Tuesday nights!? - We sucked at the trivia but it was a great chance to catch up with a whole heap of the ACT crew, sink some brews, have dinner and play some pool(I still hold the record for 9 wins in a row on the same table in one night)...

We should definitly start doing something like that again! Even if it is only once a fortnight... :/

Who knows we might even get to see the misterious Jayce and Erica again (since they have gone in to hiding) :D

Should we put it to a vote?

pretty sure i broke that winning streak if i remember correctly mick :) 7 balls in a row of the break and then missed on the blakc i think :P

id be keen for that...they still do trivia there??

Youre right Gus, you did end that winning streak... By about 5 balls I think :P

I dont know if they still do trivia but we can still go and have a good time getting slightly pissed and laughing at each other (especially if James snorts salt again) :D

so when are we doing this trivia/dinner/meetup thing??? would be good to catch up with everyone/meet new people

+learn more about my car from people who no more than me :ermm: haha

pretty sure i jsut went through the members rides thread. man i cant believe i used to post so much crap when i was younger...epic fail. little 15 year old gus scabbing lifts of people and stuff....i cant believe anyone actually put up with me haha

Gus the difference is that you were a massive skyline enthusiast and now you have your own...

bit different to some "annoying little twat" who scabbed lifts and then was never heard of again.. :(

Speaking of scabbing lifts I had to do that today to go drink beer and watch Bathurst... in a Hyundai... omg!! the shame. At least the cab I just got home was a Ford.... I'm in Bathurst fever right now.... GO FORD!!! :ermm:

yeah i got to watch the race at work. we had it on every single tv in the store...

we also have this thing called a "wave" used to drive around and go up and down get stuff off the shelves. for some reason if u open the back gates it goes faster....i got in trouble for driving aorund all quick with the gates open...nearly took out a few boxes haha.

and yes i do have my own skyline....and i dont like it very much at the moment grrrrrr

haha yeah thankfully.

*sorry to all those people that i scabbed lifts off...i was a annoying little twat i know *

No prob Gus enthusiast is alway welcome and you got to drive my 33, should have used you for taxi that day then I could have got drunk

P.S. if anyone is after some www.skylinesaustralia.com stickers, ive got 2 that im not using and probably wont be using any time soon (wouldnt really suit on a ford?), if you want them let me know. theyre silver/grey, and theyre free! i dont know the sizes but theyre the smaller ones.

P.P.S Let me know if im not allowed to give these away, if there only for donating members etc...

Just ordered a Blazer Carbon Fibre Bonnet and Some Bonnet Pins! Cant wait fit it.

For those of you who dont know, my current stock bonnet had relations with my windscreen and my roof.

Its my first step inside the carbon circle, wonder if it stops there haha.

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
