Hi Steve-SST,

I have an RB25 with ARIAS pistons, Linished, Shot Peened and Cryo Tempered Rods, HKS GT 3040, HKS topmount manifold, PFC, Tomei Poncams 256/9, 550cc Sards, Greddy/Trust Plenum, Ported Head Iski valves prings, Micks MC bar & plate cooler 100mm, E-Boost and Trust Type R W/G 45mm, Q45 Throttle Body, Q45 AFM, 90mm Fujitsubo Exhaust, 90mm dump & very hi flow cat.

Max I could get out of it was 330rwkw @ 21 PSI. (DD Dyno in shootout mode - do a search and you will find the dyno graph I posted)

Since my car is very similar spec to Pauls and Magics -

If I change from PFC to Wolf - am I gonna get 50 rwkw increase ???

Cheers !

/edit = PS I run 118 mph (18PSI) - but I am CRAP at drag racing :(

The post stands it did make 511 on Speedworks dyno and as Tristan said read the following posts and you will find out what it made in shootout.

Speedworks claim their dyno is the only one thats right i think our dyno is but you guys make up your own mind.

3040 rated at 500 at 1bar, cant see why a wolf and the right tuning it would not get 440rwhp. a bigger fuel pump might be needed along with a better head gasket

Just wondering, if injectors are run at or very close to 100% duty cycle, are the spray patterns adversly affected?? Also, I noted that BOOSTD mentioned that increasing the fuel pressure by higher than 10% screwed the spray patterns, but I dont see how this is appliciable if the standard reg would be boosting the rail pressure during boost situations anyway??

330kw = 442.5372hp!

Dunno how many times I have said this....

Forgot to add - HKS 1.6mm head gasket and Bosche 040 pump.

I want the 380rwkw you guys keep talking about with Garrett GT30s - ha ha

The only real difference is the Wolf - and I can't see how it can be done !

But hey - that's just my opinion

:)

Time a Mod locked this thread and wait for the Drag slip but then there will be hidden NOS storys etc.

Get real will ya !!!

You and your chronies get great pleasure in trying to make yourselves look ahead of everyone else.

You are the one started this thread with a claim of 511rwhp knowing that it was a false reading, inviting everyone to scrutinize the result.

It turns out that the result is nothing out of ordinary and is replicated everywhere else, with the exception of difference in injector sizes. Big farken deal, next time you are in VIC, let me present you with a plaque carved out of an off-cut 0.5mm steel. If you try my earlier suggestion of cam gear modification i will upsize it to 1mm.

To finalise, why is there a 40 degree difference between the intake and ambient temperatures...? It was explained to me by a DD rep that, 40 deg. difference would add an 8% to the reading.

In short, move along fellas...

Emre, STFU, from the being steve and magic1 said that the reading will most likly be out as SPEEDWORKS (the dyno in which was uses @ PAS) reads higher.

WHY DOESNT EVERYONE get over themselfs? I ****ing sick and tied of people bitching just becuase YOU AND YOUR TUNER CANT make the power steve and sst can.

like steve said someone lock this thread, its got out of controll its kind of like a FLAME war between everyone not in W.A and the boys in WA,

You have absolutely no idea about anything, so i susgest you STFU.

Its got nothing to do with wa versus other states, its the inability for ppl to answer questions.

Tristans car will do the times, just give the guy a break. he didnt start this thread btw.

    • Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my R32 GT-R. Sometimes, when the car goes over a bump or experiences some vibration, the 4WD warning light comes on the dashboard. When I check the code from the control unit in the trunk, it shows Code 19 – ETS Motor. However, everything seems to be working fine — if I turn off the engine and restart the car, the light goes away and everything functions normally. Has anyone experienced this before? Where should I start troubleshooting this issue? Thanks in advance!
    • I'm back from the dyno - again! I went looking for someone who knew LS's and had a roller dyno, to see how it shaped up compared to everything else and confirm the powerband really is peaking where Mr Mamo says it should. TLDR: The dyno result I got this time definitely had the shape of how it feels on the road and finally 'makes sense'. Also we had a bit more time to play with timing on the dyno, it turns out the common practice in LS is to lower the timing around peak torque and restore it to max after. So given a car was on the dyno and mostly dialled in already, it was time for tweaking. Luis at APS is definitely knowledgable when it came to this and had overlays ready to go and was happy to share. If you map out your cylinder airmass you start seeing graphs that look a LOT like the engine's torque curve. The good thing also is if you map out your timing curve when you're avoiding knock... this curve very much looks like the inverse of the airmass curve. The result? Well it's another 10.7kw/14hp kw from where I drove it in at. Pretty much everywhere, too. As to how much this car actually makes in Hub Dyno numbers, American Dyno numbers, or Mainline dyno numbers, I say I don't know and it's gone up ~25kw since I started tinkering lol. It IS interesting how the shorter ratio gears I have aren't scaled right on this dyno - 6840RPM is 199KMH, not 175KMH. I have also seen other printouts here with cars with less mods at much higher "kmh" for their RPM due Commodores having 3.45's or longer (!) rear diff ratios maxing out 4th gear which is the 1:1 gear on the T56. Does this matter? No, not really. The real answer is go to the strip and see what it traps, but: I guess I should have gone last Sunday...
    • 310mm rotors will be avilable from Australia, Japan, and probably a few other places. Nothing for the front can be put on the back.
