heres a link to greenline - http://www.greenline.jp/

I have recently dealt with nengun and am very satisfied. Purchased a power fc and commander at a great price without any hiccups.

I also had doubts and queeries - heres a link to a post - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=54302- however it was all good in the end.

Brents service was prompt and precise.

As with any internet business, if you want a direct response then the telephone is the fastest method (sorry - unable to get contact number for nengun).

Nengun = No worries!

Jus my 2c worth!!

hmm that sounds shonky as... especially the getting a stock fuel pump in a nismo box i mean wtf.

i was gonna buy some cams from him but that sounds dodgey as ... i thought he was meant to be good and heaps of people had ordered from him?

hmm

What are you people on about? No one has ever mentioned that to me. Not one e mail with your complaint. If I think who it is You just sent it back because you said it was faulty and I am using the warranty to get you another one. I would never change part for something else. Never!

Nismo do there own testing on the fuel pumps that is why they smell of fuel when you recieve them. Hence people think they are used.

Weird man! People will say or do anything for their 15 minute Flip

Here goes...

You can keep some of the people happy all of the time, all of the people happy some of the time but you can't keep ALL of the people happy ALL of the time!I've been in the retail game for 19 years now,and none of the above comes as a suprise. It is,however, damned frustrating to hear all this negativity.I'm not sure if it's an Australian thing(and before you all go and get national on my a**,an Aussie is an Aussie, regardless of bagkground)I'm talking about;I think it's a mindset. No one wants to pay retail prices anymore. You'd be considered a mug if you do.Everyone wants to make their dollar go as far as possible, usually regardless of who you've gotta screw over to get that percieved value for money. For those in retail that take pride in trying to do the right thing by their customers, this usually means we get hassled,"price shopped" and screwed by some people.Meh: it's part of the job.The main reason I see people go to Greenline,Nengun et al is price.Go on:try to deny it!I did, too, when I went to buy my 2530's.I saved nearly $3000 over Australian R.R.P.It took longer,I don't have the local distributors' back up,and I had to do a bit of emailing and running around to get such a saving-all these things I weighed up before purchasing from anyone other than a "normal" retailer. And I'm stoked with Brent's(Nengun)service!!So should some people that expect all of this when shopping outside the normal square we live in.Someone gets great service(this may include price, attitude, backup, timeframe, product knowledge and selection amongst others)and they'll statistically tell 3 to 5 friends.Someone has a bad experience and they'll tell an average of 20 people. We're all happy to whinge when unhappy but we're quiet when we're content.

How many business would last by being dishonest enough to take your money, never sending goods or replying to your emails? There is almost always a very good reason for this breakdown. It just seems that most people are happy to "pull the pin" very quickly and run off at the mouth about bad service without investigating futher. Why should you even check into it further? You wouldn't have to if it was your local Autobarn, would you? No:they'd just give you a credit note or refund,But we're not in Kansas anymore,Toto! If you choose to do things differently, prepare to put in a bit of extra work!Anyone out there want to invest a few million dollars in stock, pay huge overheads, train your staff up to be all the things you'd expect in a shop environment, then sit back and watch people screw you to the wall merely on price?Service?Hah!Most shoppers could care less:UNTIL something goes wrong for them...Everyone has a story, good, bad or otherwise. My solution is this:do the maths. If you communicate with 3 people about buying a product and two say it's good, one says its' bad, have you really researched far enough?Talk to 100 people.200,even.Law of averages work here. It's a bigger test bed.I did this when considering buying from Nengun.About 90+% of people said good things:I made the call that this was good enough for me.And I will shop with Brent again(waiting on an order right now,actually)-happily.If something goes wrong,I'll calmly deal with it.Those of you feeling hard done by:do the same.Anyone who bothers to read my rant this far now knows I'm :hellpisd: at how things happen like this:life's to short-just get on with it!The Earth wont stop spinning just because your annodised purple dipstick showed up a day late,AND in a shade close to Aubergine...If you want better service,PAY FOR IT or do a better job yourselves!

i agree....if your going to be a tight arse and buy over the internet.....be prepared to suffer the consiqeunce's(sp?)You guys have it all to easy these days.....when i was a young lad i packed up and went to japan with only a back pack and had to search for good stuff(there was no internet then)....you blokes have at at the push of a button and you still bust balls on prices and availability

Nengun = tops!

I've ordered:

Full Trust exhaust, Trust front pipes, 2 sets of brake pads, brake hoses, and previously, Greddy intake for RB25, profec B, BOV, cam gears...

Sure some stuff took a while, but if there is no stock... well just wait then. Or go to a shop here.

Just keep emailing Brent... I imagine he is pretty busy.

Well said.

I work in sales of $100k+ machines, and it's hard enough to sell them and service them with the amount of price screwing that goes on.

I will never try to screw anyone on price for that exact reason.

BASS OUT

A few people over at NS are having problems with disappearing Nengun parts as well

http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...showtopic=63467

That's crazy. Thinly vieled death threats, threats to get people rolled... absolutely nuts.

I am sure some people have legitimate compliants, but stuffups happens with all businesses, particularly those that are popular: its just the law of percentages. No matter how hard the business tries, evey now and then a person falls through the cracks.

The funny (or worrying) thing is that those that do have some difficulty are invariably so much louder than everyone else: you don't usually see people shouting when they have had a good experience with a trader. In fact half the time those people who post compliants don't bother to even update their threads even when their problems are sorted.

As others have said, if you are going to order from overseas -- although the same can very well apply to locally run webshops -- it often takes a little longer, but the rewards is a much lower price. Instant gratification means going retail, which adds significantly to the cost of goods.

That's my .02 of a dollar.

Lucien.

That guy on NS is an absolute tosser. I love the "Its the principal, cuase where I come from, people get killed for the lack of disrespect this man has shown me. " what a wanker. He's probably 17 years old, comes from melbourne and is buying his shiny purple BOV (it is shiny purple BTW) to put on his mums 10 year old lancer. ha ha ha. this quote is also good: "His business may stop operating, or just run very very slow. How this happens is not of my concern, but sometimes you dont know who you're screwing over." ooohh, oh no some little weener is going to get revenge. Look out brent. Also, if he has such a great, connected, hard core cousin in Japan, why didn't he just get his cousin to buy and send him the part in the first place? like I said, complete wanker. I'm sorry that he spent 6 weeks of his meagre wages to pay for something he didn't get, but proving to the world what a great keyboard warrior he is probably isn't helping his cause... A little maturity probably would have got him an answer and his parts/money some time ago.

For all those dubious as to brents service, just don't buy from him, he will get plenty of business from me and my friends to sustain him. But I'll say it again, in my experience he has provided great honest service.

oohsam is actually 22 or something and a member of this forum also. He used to have a r33 but now has a silvia. All that stuff about putting a hit on nengun is just anger talk coz oohsam is a funny guy but seems to think he has teleban links in his family :D

I have personally bought a shit load of parts from nenguna and greenline, and both have their good and bad points, but if you want to save money and buy stuff from there guys dont bitch coz it takes more than 10 days coz jap suppliers are useless bastards especially the big companies like HKS coz they sell enough parts locally so they dont give a toss about selling parts to people like nengun to send over to aus.

Funniest thing I've read all day. I'm still giggling!

I know, i always have a laugh at oohsam

We all did :D

It's all good mate. I don't have anything against the guy, but you've got to admit he was acting like a bit of a plonker. I had a problem (small problem) with something I got from Brent, I took a digi photo of it, emailed him and offered him what I though were reasonable options to appease me and he exceeded my expectations. I'm sure oohsam will get his money or BOV back.

I'd still love to know where people get killed over purple blow off valves, that sounds like an interesting place to visit! he he.

Richard

I was actually talking to hoesam, as i call him, yesterday before i read this thread, on the phone bout something else and he mentioned his BOV saga. I had a chuckle about it on the phone coz he seemed to get really worked up about it coz he is just getting the car back on the road after someone decided to kick both his mirrors off the car while at some carpark and then a week later i think a taxi smashed into him.

Fark, that doesn't sound good. Maybe he threatend to have them killed? If he didn't maybe he should have? Anyway, enough of me knocking the guy. I'm sure the BOV thing will be sorted, no need for him to carry on like he's some kind of mafia don... or for me to keep knocking him.

Oh dear - seems there are still plenty of wannabe e-thugs in existance :D

Seriously thats fawking lame

Nothing but good business from brent @ Nengun.

Spent a fair bit and will be spending more

He does go on holiday sometimes, because he does run the entire business himself im pretty sure.

Im sure if he knew about the above few complaints that he'd do something about it.

As Gordo said, few months ago everyone was complaining about Greenline...

Ive gone with nengun in the past and will in the future :)

Love it!! :headspin:

Can I have an anodised purple dipstick too?

I am amazed at the lack of patience from some people. They have no concept of what the business proprietor is trying to do to get them their parts. If you send them six emails a day, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?", you might actually slow their business down, 'coz they have to waste time reading and replying to crap! Duh! Hadn't thought of that!

Seen some of this in the group buys too. As for the links with organised crime, hahahahahaha!!!!!!!! My sides are still aching. Tell that to the 14 year olds on the internet chat rooms, I am sure they will be impressed!!! Haahaahaa!

This forum is such entertainment!

    • Seat of the pants assessment of the new intake: The car is way less "doughy" when hitting the loud pedal, especially off idle when stopped or in traffic, I did use a cheapo lazer thermal thingo to measure the temp around where the pod filter got its air, it was between 55 - 60°C, in saying this the car was shut off and not moving, so the OEM intake pipe was not supplying any fresh air to where the pod was when the car was at least moving A weird bonus was induction noise on the throttle in the cabin increased a bit,  I was worried that I was actually going to lose some of that induction noise I love so much, outside though, when I got the daughter to do a WOT drive by pass for me, the induction noise has increased alot when on the throttle, not quite ITB doort, but well up there I'm extremely happy with the results and have been exploring the country roads in the region  As for house mods: 1.New front fence is up and is awesome, it really upgraded how the joint looks from the street, and the added security is nice 2. Electricians have replace some interior lights, and with more lighting in the garage, a few new motion detecting lights out the front above the garage, front room, and at the front door, which I have already found heaps helpful coming and going, also now has fancy pants CCTV all round the house The only hold point for power though is the solar and batteries due to supply issues, although this will happen over the next few weeks 3. I have done a heap of landscaping out the front and I'm almost ready to do a new small retaining wall with some nice blocks to replace the brick and cemented in rocks around the raised garden beds cemented in river stone "was the fashion at the time" the house was built. I currently have a pallet of retaining wall blocks and 2 bulka bags of 20mm blue metal to replace the wood chip that is in the raised garden beds around the house 4. I now have 3 big raised garden beds for out the back to grow some vegetables, about 70cm high, 200cm long and 100cm wide 5. My 2 compost bins are already pretty full with brown, green and kitchen waste from the landscaping I'vedone so far, but they will probably take a few months to break down, so anything else that gets chopped, trimmed, and kitchen waste will just start filling the base of the raised garden beds to about 30cm before I start throwing 40cm of good compost, and stuff, for the vegetables to grow in, I'll need a few ton of compost and soil, but the local supplier can sent me bulka bags of the stuff Basically the logs, wood chips and a few strategically placed rocks for drainage, will give the beds some good organic materials down low to break down over time, and they will hold moisture during the warmer months to save the water in my big arse water tank if we don't get alot of rain So, all in all, the car and house mods are going well, and I'm really enjoying being retired, I sleep in too 0700 and slowly plod around inside until I feel like actually doing anything, and only work in the yard for as long as want, which has actually been alot over the last few weeks,  although when you look at it, it seems that not a huge amount of work has been done,  until I look at the before I started the work pics Happy days and good times indeed
    • hahaha yeah. Plan is to get side skirts and probably just rear pods. But going to do them one-by-one. I've got a set that I really like from RHDJapen, but that one isn't shipped to AU. So need to find someone who can get it for me
