Heres some pics of my car with the GT wing just sitting on the boot.

Bear in mind the S1 spoiler is still attached(anyone know how to remove them??) and the GT wing would sit approximately 5-10cm further back than in the pics.

Does anyone know where to get CF bootlids for R33??

:D

You need to get a bosykit and some phat rims to make the wing truly apart of the car. It looks a bit out of place with the stock bodykit

I dont think I'll bother with a body kit but I will probably modify the front bar.

Might consider some rims later but the ones I got are decent -17's..... 255's rear and 235's front

I would've removed the stock spoiler before putting the GT wing on

I removed the stock spoiler today and I'll take a few pics tomorrow.

I've got a bootlid garnish thingy which I will leave on for something different.

Removed the S1 spoiler and Installed the GT wing on friday. Also went and got a quote to fill the holes and respray the boot for $550, a bit pricey but I've seen there work and they do a top notch job.

Heres some pics;

:(

How hard was it to remove the old stock spoiler?

Quite easy actually. After undoing the 4 bolts I ran some fishing line between the spoiler and the bootlid(where possible) to free up the glue stuff and then simply grabbed the wing and pulled firmly upwards untill the clips released it.

y not just get r34 gtr spoiler?

Well scrap that idea. i made a promise last night no more buying fluff for the car. Have to start saving again...so only money to be spend on car is servicing and track days. Only if something breaks am i allowed to buy a new one:(

I think it looks alright and could potentially make the car as a whole look great. Of course it will fit in a lot better if you balance things out.. I recently got an immitation gtr front bar and i think it added heaps to the look of the car. It did cost a bit though - almost 1k inc. painting, installation and mesh. Maybe you should go for a 400R bar. That's a little bit fancier.. it will suit the wing better. But then that might not look quite right until you get some new side skirts.. e.t.c. e.t.c. So much money!

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
