heres the new wheels.

they're not ultra lightweight super happy driftosa rims 'overnight from japan' but they're PIMPIN and what i've been looking for for awhile.

only prob is they hav lifted the car an inch so i need to lower it again, and i want to get wider tyres, the ones they came with are ultra skinny...

yay. me = happy

hmm

jury is out kursed.. I don't know if they're full sick enough for me to like em.

But yeah your rims look like 19".. my 18"s looks like 16" :

I would have preferred your mesh/spoke lo-lo style .. ahh whatever so long as you're happy

yeah i couldnt get the wires without mucho fkn around, a good sized wad of $$ and a lot of waiting time.

always wanted neepers, these are the US ones, triple dipped chrome. mmmm

'sif not full sick!

I'll be the first to say that I don't like it.

deep dish would've been more pimp, but each to their own I guess

yeah thats your call - personally i'm sick of every jap car having flat coloured lightweights... just not what i'm into. dish is pimp when done right, but this cefiro has serious suspension plans which will negate the use of wide wheels or low bodykits.

cheers

i'd rather have most other colours than white believe me, but white was on the bargain vehicle - and i can see past dull paint for a quality car.... just

div hunter i know what you mean dude, i am going to see what I can do about getting wider tyres, the current ones are the thinnest i've seen on 7.5 wide... i want a bit more sidewall that will help tuck the rim in a little bit but i'll still have to be daaamn careful.

hahahaha kursed that look like something funk master flex would drive now, or some high priced rapper,

you're from sydney aren't you, your rims tell me you live in or around sydney...

you sydney guys have a certain trend for car mods.

I dunno, I think they look ok. Like, I think there would have been better similar looking wheels, but hey, your car, your money. They could have been going cheap for all we know, making them a good deal.

I also think chrome looks AWESOME with white, and all the extra chrome bits on cefiros helps them link in better. Maybe some of that fancy black fading to chrome tint on there too, bit of a front lips, skirts etc, pretty plain body kit, it would be hella nice.

Ask a funny question tho... if the tyres have the same rolling diameter... then how in gods name can the car be an inch higher???

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
