well ye, i want one with low k's and if u get a late model supra there r some minor changes with aesthetics. Also knowing u have a 97 RZ instead of a 93 is a good feeling.

the later models also have bigger brakes I think.. Supra for the win. Around the same weight as the skyline, with MUCH better tuning potential.

Pfft Supra's starting to look dated.. Who cares? 34's will look dated in 3 years. And probably hold their value worse than the Supra.

ye they did come with the larger brakes though it was only the RZ's (Late model RZ-S still had standard 2 pot brakes) RZ's also came with recaro steats, REAS suspension and some other minor things

my N/A supra goes just has hard as my GT-T, supras are more suited as a weekend car as the r34 a better choice as a daily driven car.

i also have a NA supra (see my gallery) and they will beat most NA cars along with some turbo's and V8's

I hate you so much.

"Hey guys, should I buy an R34 GTT or a Supra RZ? Also, I've discovered my girlfriend is bi and wants to bring her model friends over every night for a threesome, foursome and even fivesomes, my wallet is too small for $100 notes, and I can't seem to find underpants capable of holding my collosal man tackle in."

And here I am sitting looking forlornly at both, thinking to myself........ someday it will be mine, and here you go, having to choose between two of the most desirable cars in the market.

I am jack's burning jealousy.

After all that, I'd still pick the skyline. They're both awesome cars, but I just like the lines and 'feel' of the skyline over the supra, but hey, that's just me.

Just realised this is an old thread. Oh well, have to get my count up anyway.

Stuff that! GTR with a 2jz-gte would be my ultimate ride!

hell yeah. has anyone attempted this yet/thought about it? but for the sake of this pole, supra any day of the week. bolt on big turbo, add lots of fuel and tune it properly, easiest 600hp+ ur ever gonna see. where is the common 'limit' of GT-R internals? i know the pole is for GT-t's, but im feeling generous here, so i'll let the skyline boys use the GT-R for this one

SHUTUPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP......id pick a 34 NE day.....(i had the choice between the 2 and i went for the 34gtt)

my only reason......was because compared to r34s....there are to many supras on the road....same reason i didnt get a 33 GTR even though its a GTR its still a 33 (gets rdy for the flames) LOL

    • Hi guys, just after some guidance with an R34 sunroof that has stopped working correctly. It still opens and closes perfectly fine, but it no longer tilts/vents up or down. As a result, the rear of the glass now sags a bit as it drops down slightly in order to retract into the roof, but now it can't pop upwards into a flush position. I’ve probed the pins on the back of the switch connector with a multimeter and it seems like both switches (for open/close and tilt/vent) still work correctly. Any ideas on what it could be, or where I should even start in terms of diagnosing? I'm sure someone's had this issue before but I haven't been able to find anything online relating to this specific issue, most of the issues are with the seals leaking or the motor failing entirely. Thanks in advance!
    • Do you have some data like fuel pressure? It's really hard to say if you're still fighting a fuel system issue at this point. Could be something weird like the FPCM dipping out.
    • Yeah in that case, pulling the dent out. Event a very slight dent can create a lot of work filler-wise and there is a strong chance the panel won't be the factory shape when you are done (as the dent will result in a new high point created somewhere, then everything is brought up to that new high point... but the panel shouldn't be that high if that makes sense).  So you've filled and primed the panel and it is flat, why would you go back and remove the primer and add more filler?
    • Something else I have been faffing with while the car was off the road is making the AC work. Assuming the car isn't at a thermal limit the idea of having AC while waiting in line to go on track sounds delightful. I have actually been lugging around the weight of the entire system since 2018 when the RB25NEO went in without it working at all.  The main reason was in the first few events before I got around to re-gassing it the rubber hose that runs under the manifold had the factory heat wrap/sleeve fail resulting in this: ~2 years ago I purchased a complete used R32 AC line set but when I finally went to install it the line i needed was different where the expansion section is I found a local place that was able to replace the rubber section and re-crimp. They also added some modern heat sleeve to the hose Tight fit but fingers crossed this is the last physical piece of the puzzle needed
    • the top black section is bonded to the silver section with some form of rubber. I assume to isolated NVH from the box
