E_Lu-SHuN, I had to buy a breaker bar just to undo them, but it was well worthwhile.

Shmiddy, Will try and take some pics. I did mine with the Silver Base coat, then just did the NISSAN in blue, keeping with the look of my rims etc.

Will try and post some pics up.

Did my front pair in the Red today and it looks awesome!

It will be less time consuming to take the calipers off and bleed the system after, rather than trying to cover/tape up everything else. Although the end result will not look much different from the outside.

I used wheel bearing grease applied with an ear bud to the NISSAN logo and the paint came straight off afterwards.

It is recommended that you use the adhesion promoter (CP199) before the ground cote. That is if you can find it! and if you do find somewhere that sells it in SYD please let me know.

any1 find a well known shop that actualy stocks this paint?

i cant find anywhere..

No offence, but why don't you use some initative and call the paint supplier. I posted a link to their details a few posts up. They should be able to tell you who regularly stocks their paint in your area.

A tip for those who just cant be assed paying for an extra can of paint then painting "NISSAN" seperately...

This will only work well on a few colors (red mainly) but heres what I did:

Painted the whole caliper, right over the NISSAN logo....whole thing.

Then once dried, I simply got out some sandpaper and took off the paint over the NISSAN logo. As its raised its very easy to do and came out pretty well for something that cost me $0.

Ends up being a shiny silver if your sandpaper is a decent grit. Time will tell if it stays that way but whats to stop you from giving it a quick once over if it fades! :D

Seems Dupli.Color have a "Caliper Kit" now, brush on without removing the calipers, here 'tis:

http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html

I was more interested in their wheel coatings, but not sure if it's suitable for a colour change (stock R32's to white), or just dressing up existing colours.

You may not be able to get some of the "new" paints they have on the web site as it is a US site and some of the paints dont come over here or dont come over for sometime(weeks, months, years?)

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
