SOLD

As per the chiba_osaka_boy Group Buy.

Im dirty that i have to sell it as it looked great on the car. Problem is the bonnet fouls on my Whiteline strut brace and my custom intercooler pipes:( Thought about trimiing the inner skin/gusset to suit but would rather not go modifying it.

So asking $850 and pick up from near Liverpool in Sydney, best suited to GTRs but may also fit GTST depending on intercooler piping and strut brace, still in box/wrapping only trial fitted to the car for 15minutes.

Needs to be sold in the next week or two as i wont be in Sydney all that long and rather not burden family with babysitting the bonnet for me...

The Group Buy price was $850, only picked the bonnet up on Sunday night, i have waited since January to get it, stoked with how it looked on the car, just that the bonnet could not be closed, mainly because of my custom cooler piping, to a lesser extent strut brace:(:D:(

Pity it wont fit in the back seat lol. Id be real keen if it did! Now theres a challenge fo you!

Get it in the back seat and still be able to drive the car with out and dramas.

If you can do it, let me know

I havent had a moment to chase it all up, between preparing for holidays, closing out two projects and tryign to sell my car and buy another...well havent had time.

As for weights...it weighs less then the steel GTST bonnet, but id say it woudl be line ball for weght with the alloy GTR bonnet, if anything it will be heavier. So forget weight savings with this bonnet, it wiould be more a styling and engine bay cooling thing, or if your current bonnet is a bit tatty.

Damn, I want it. Don't have the cash right now, I trial fitted my mates one.. looks damn sexy! Maybe we can work on some kind of exchange.... how bout i arrange some sexual favours from dave for you :D

GTST potential buyers note u need to bend your bonnet clip thingy back to get it to lock.

FREE BUMP!!!!

Hey DJ984, you car is silver right? very interested in a trade then.:P

Geordie...about the best i can do is you drive to my place and we can fit it here in Sydney, what you do with your std bonnet i have no idea:)

Shrub, happy to send it interstate, but would only do it properly , meaning me gettinga crate made for it, and using a courier. Probably around $200 in total:( Wouldnt run the risk of shipping it unless it was protected by a crate because one of us could end up with a bitter taste in our mouth:(

    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).
    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
