I Suggest We Kick Out Anyone Who Buys These..

Recommended Posts

On the 300zx, I reckon they look good.

I appreciate that ppl have different tastes, so as long as you like them on your 33 that is all that matters. You should come down to one of our "non-official" (SAU Vic member and non-member) cruises/events so that I could see them 1st hand.

**** spinners, i see commonwhore wagons with them on. Now thats gay. Not to mention you could rip off the spinning part with a crow bar easily...

you think thats gay..... try those "spinner" mags that you buy for like 40 bucks for a set from super cheap auto on a lil toyota echo.... now THATS gay, especially when it also had a 5" exhaust tip and neons lmao, passed it one night on the way home from caulder.

I felt the same way when first got them actually I straight out didnt like em butt their growing on me and they do look like retro rockets.Only downside is getting a red globe that doesnt shine pinky or brown which isnt easy to find.

And S%$t i didnt cover the no plate up even though not sure why its done.

Chk out the afterburner lights i put on a 300zx im just doing.72 of them nearly make your eyes bleed if your tailgating.

one of my mates was the first in the country with the lambo style tails for the zed (yellow and red round tail lights)... they looked hot as back then (2001), and they look hot as now.

the nismo style ones? just whatever it costs for the high brightness LED's n bits n pieces. Shouldn't be more than $40 for the whole set. I'll do em for you only on condition that you don't attempt to take my life if my dodgy wiring causes an electrical fire and burns the back of your car down :D

Hey guys these dont look to bad EH??????

hehe looks like a zombie with cataract eyes... "must eat braaaains", but its a conversation starter, and that's all that counts... in a sea of whales it'll stand out.

haha yeah, thorpey musta said there fully sick, coz ive seen them on at least 2 cars since then * shake of head *.

yeah the clear tail lights on that red R33 look good..... where can i get me sum of those :P.

same goes for that zed, although on a white or black one it'd look better, not a fan of silver cars. :)

i think the point of personalising a car is so it reflects who you are. if you like a particular mod then by all means do it. just because i think they look gayer than big brother shouldn't stop you.

This pic is a JGTC car. I think the tail lights look ok, lots of small led's, better than 11 or 12 big ones.

    • Hey everyone. Is there a way I can get the original window sticker (maroney label) for my 1995 R33 GTST? I doubt I’ll be able to ever get it but it’s worth a shot to ask
    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
