Hey ppls.

After a successful group buy a while ago, I would like to offer the air guides again for a group buy.

I make them from CNC routed air craft grade 1.0mm aluminum sheet.

Price will be slightly higher this time due to the rediculous rise in steel prices over the last 12 months.

See the attached picture for the guides.

Price will be $80 each, plus freight. I must send via TNT specialise frieght so that they don't get bent in transport, so budget for about $25 for freight.

If you are interested you must tell me what sort of front bar you have, as there are three different guides, one for standard bar, one for Nismo Sports front bar and one for aftermarket front bars.

Please note that the guide on some aftermarket front bars may have to be slightly modified to suit.

So, Who's interested?

I will start the group buy when we have 10 people and end it when the 10 ppl have paid.

1. Pear....................Standard Bar...............Paid

2. Wogboy...............Nismo Sports................Paid

3. Mad34.................Standard Bar................Paid

4. Nightcrawler..........Standard Bar..............Paid

5. Ven.....................Standard Bar Series II....Paid

6. E_Lu-SHuN............Standard Bar.................Paid

7. Binky1970............Standard Bar.................Paid

Mine has a std bar, whats on yours is part of the optional Nissan Areo kit, Nismo is different again. Have been trying to track one done for a while (Areo type)

Put me done for an Aero type guide (will find one eventually!)

Wogboy.

Must be an R34....  Your details say R33?

Have both, R33 GTS-T (for sale, maybe, if wife has her way!) & R34 GT-T.

Don't know how to change details, tried once & got to hard!

Hey ppls.

PIC 1 Standard Front Bar Series I

PIC 2 Standard Front Bar Series II

PIC 3 Nismo Front Bar Series I

Looks like the Nismo and the Series II standard would be the same, as there is the mesh on both.

I've never seen a Series II in Australia..... yet.

I think hes just being picky over the fact its true name is Nissan Aero sports kit not a nismo kit.

As for the radiator guides, I highly recommend them, got one in the last group buy. Very well made and absolute bargain price.

Hey, not being picky! Just makin' sure I ask for the right part. People do have different termanology for the same thing!

yep I'll take one, but won't want to pay for it/be delivered until October when I get back from the USA. If it helps your numbers and will take that long anyway, put me down. I have a standard series 1 front bar.

Hi Guys.

I have added you both to the list.

Ven.

Can you please confirm that the front bar on your car is like the blue one I have shown in the pic?

Cheers

yep, same front bar as in the pic...same colour as well :)

Cool.

Nice car.

Can you please take a photo of your car like the one I have attached.

From as close to straight on and central as you can.

I'm assuming that yours will be very very similar to the Nismo front bar, as the Nismo front bar on the Series two was the same as the series one.

Thanks

PEte

PS. We only need 4 more people to get this group buy under way.

Tell your friends!

    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
