:P

Pretty flash mate

You will need to design and get milled a set of adaptors out of alloy or something to get them to bolt on

I would also look at bigger diameter rotors while you are at it

Maybe some bigger brembo GTR rotors. I think they are 328mm or similar?

Will they fit under your 17" r34 GTT wheels?

Great work Tangles 324mm will fit under 17in,NO hope with 328mm,

lol not sure what you are on today chuckie?!? 324x32 is brembo gtr size and a good cheap choice for common disc size. tangles you'll need custom brackets to suit but from steel not ally. it may end up expensive because the adapters can be $$ couple of hundred each.

330ish is fin under 17s, 355 can fit but requires the right wheels and will be very tight. so 324 brembo size is a good choice.

......mmm rb30......

anyway.....the gtr brakes will be heaps better, easier to find pads and rotors for, and cheap. I went with the G4s because I wanted new all round but before that I had the GTR gear on mine.

You'll love em, I certainly like the improvement on my car. I also just fitted a UAS Brake stopper and that has made a noticeable difference to hard stopping, e.g. brake pedal feels a bit firmer.

Only thing I am missing now is some steel braided lines. How are you going to approach brake lines Chucky? I have thought of going to somewhere like race brakes and getting a custom set made up but I am thinking if there are a number of people after brake lines it might be worth organising a group buy.

I got a quote from Maltech in March last year for replacement S1 lines - $495 inc GST & postage.

Couldn't justify it at the time, but now I've bought a set for the Z the Stagea has moved further up the list.

:)

lolz

Im already running Maltech braided brake lines, so will simply use an adapter piece to make 2+2 fit together

plus I already have a set of larger slotted rotors that I grabbed a yr ago for $50

got these Panoz 4-pots off ebay, searched Panoz Wilwood !! I paid $150aud delivered.

as good a deal as brembos surely

with pads being 120 deliv its under $300 so far

rims are BJR Grafic 17x7.5 +38 with 5mm spacers

definately going to make them fit -

just had a quick search

www.wilwood.com

They look nice

http://info.wilwood.com/BrakeKits.aspx?yea...&model=350Z

They do a kit for 350Z, so they will fit M35's??

They do a kit for 240sx(our 200sx with out a turbo) as well. . . hmm wonder if they will fit the C34

Looking on ebay.com, looks you can new calipers for $165us each?

Need to do a bit more research

these were used / made for Panoz Racing and used on the rear of a nascar (?). guy had 4 sets, they went real quick.

love my ebay

:)

will use my trusted engineer shaun at BoostWorx DynoTuning & Engineering to fit.

edit: could be outlaw 4000-series

more research coming up !! lol

324mm with 33gtst calipers only JUST fit under 34GTT rims, can't say about those other calipers but I would imagine it would be pretty close.

Aftermarket 17's with more offst would probably fit bigger but not the 34GTT rims.

They do a kit for 350Z, so they will fit M35's??

Yes.

Kit part numbers for M35 (Z33) are

NS01 (front) - SL6 BB Front Hat Kit

NSR01 (rear) - FSL4 BB Front Kit

Brake lines are required;

220-7016 (front)

220-9197 (rear)

I like them alot!

  • 3 weeks later...

z32 brakes are the same as R32 gtst brakes, depending on the series. they are a 4 pot caliper but run on a smaller 280ish mm rotor. i'm sure you could get them to bolt up, most of the calipers share the same mounting hole centers, but i dont think they would be much of an upgrade. best go for some R32 GTR/R33 GTST brakes, or even better R34 GTT's

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
