Bloody rain!!

Still, had fun in my zed though, drifting out of corner 4.

Went back for a second go and track was fine, bloody weather!!

Still, it was good meeting up with other members and seeing some tough liners. B)

A couple of mod cars went out for a spin, man they look like a fun toy.

I had an absolutely AWESOME time.

Myself and PORTS :) and Jeff/Geoff stayed there pretty much until the end. The track was absolutely dry, and we had a great deal of fun.

Those mod cars were absolutely awesome. They were damn quick around the track, and probably did about the same down the straight as me :O about 210km/hr

Bloody quick little things if you ask me. But I forgot to take any photos.

By the way, where was UAS John ???? I suppose he couldnt find a big enough anchor to stop the zed from leaving the track ;). Just jokes.

John is just one of those front bum, skirt wearing, keyboard warriors who is too scared to actually bring his car to the track. If I remember correctly I think below are your actual words

I contacted Aaron direct and took my money and said no probs asn sent a receipt. Might be full now might be plenty of spaces left only one way to find out.  I would suggest contacting him if you actually want to go not just want to know if you can go. Don't want to sound to bold but don't want to mess things up for future events and wasting his time.  As from past experience has unfortunately shown there  has been a lot of false starts as such, from people beer talking and not turning up.

Im sure a suitable excuse such as, the car was not ready or my tyres are no good in the wet, will be posted by mid morning.

I have 3 words for you

Soft Soft Soft!

Let the bull$h!t begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha Ha Ha

Yeah yeah bla bla and to think I was concerned it would not be a stinking hot day as can be this time of year. At least I paid and did not rev it up and not pay and not turn up. I would have stuck it in the wall yeasterday, speed boat no good with slicks only on her. Weatherzone.com.au radar showed ugly all day as well as my zed scouts Ron and Wayne ( Ports) told me. We spoke on the phone throughout the day and at about 1pm still wet all over. The slot car was all reved up to come smack Skyline too. When or where is there any other days this year????????? Preferably Oran or the Creek.

Front bum, love that one Paul you bloke you.

john, me hearty, it's all just land lubber talk to me... beer talk indeed!

yes it was wet. I was down in goulburn were we had some major storms yet we still raced friday, saturday and sunday. and we (with spencer driving) got down to 2 hundredths off the class record on a drying track. plus i managed to spin it off coming on to the back straight which was a nice brown underwear moment. all in all a top time!

Tommy I'm not sure.

Wizard was taking the shots and only during the rain. I believe that most of his shots didn't turn out due to the shitty light, but I'll send him a PM and see if he got any others and post here. B)

Adam

Sorry, i was having too much fun. I do believe there are some photos on a zed forum, but there are only 3?

Ports - Do you know if there are any more ?

Checked with the wizard, and there are no other shots. :D

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
