I have the wheels that came on my R34 reduced for a quick sale. Need them gone this week.

Chrome 18x9 +29 and 18x10 +37 SSR Professor SP1s. Light damage on one wheel as shown in second pic. Come grab them.

$1600 and they're yours. No tyres.

Cheap as chips.

Input on running 18x10.5 +15 on a r32 GTR .. thinking of running streched tyres and maybe a little bit of gaurd work.

Plausable? Anyone done it.. can't seem to find any pics of 32's running these specs..

run them with 255/35's and ull be peaches i reckon

what offset will be best to be 'LEGAL' hate to use the term but being defected is giving me the shits..

currently have 18"x10" on 245/40 (slight stretch) +13 offset on my r32 GTR.

goin to buy new rims so will need a different offset, +17 maybe? anyone have any pics with their offset? so i can get an idea on what it looks like?

cheers.

Skyline model = ECR33

Wheel diameter = 18

Wheel width = front 9, rear 10

Wheel offset = +20 front, +18 REAR

Tyre size = 235/40/18 all round.

Modifications to fit = front and rear rolled flat, -3 deg of camber front, -1.6 rear. Rears to be pulled about 5mm

2 part posting:

1) Braddd,

Sweet rims what are those? Lookig for a decent gold/bronze pair for my black S2 R33 Gtst - I think only that or black rims (maybe with polished lip) would look good with black car. Was thinking the easy option would be R34 GTR rims but yours look really decent - the right shade.

and 2) Anyone know how wide you can go for rims/tyres on a S2 R33 gtst? I was looking at a pair for sale 18x9 front, 18x10 rear, offset +35. I am guessing max width depends on offset. My guards aren't rolled - car is completely stock and the stock 16s look tiny on it. I think the best offset setup for my model was somewhere around 32ish - I read that on a forum here ages ago, so not positive....

The car is only used for daily driving etc so dont really want it to change its driving/handling characteristics...

picking up new advans tonight for my GTT

18x9 fr +22

18x10 r +25

got 225 fronts and 255 rear toyo's on my current wheels, which i'll swap over and trial on the weekend.

guards arent rolled yet, pretty sure i'll need to do that at least.....

I'll chuck some pics up of my car from back in the day a bit later on. Had the same wheels. Were first bronze and then black. Make your mind up yourself which you like better.

Just brought a set of rota grid d's (white) in 18" by 10" +15 on rear running on 235/40 falken rt615.

Fronts are 18" by 8.5" +20 running on 225/40 falken rt615

Will be fitted to 32gtst, guard work, stretching and lots of camber req'd.

Question:

I've read through about half of the 60+ pages and haven't seen it mentioned or asked yet, so...

What current OEM wheels would fit on a stock R33 GTR without modification? Any photos of this done?

Nissan 350Z OEM wheels maybe?

Thanks!

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
