shits me i cannot get the 10.5 with the wheels I want. what does a 10.5 +30 translate to with a 9.5 inch rim. What offset should i get to match the same flushness as a 10.5 +30 wheel.

Skyline model = R34 GTT

Wheel diameter = 18

Wheel width = 9.5 +22 fronts, 9.5 + ??????rears

10.5+30 = 9.5+17

Anything from +15-20 will look nice with natural camber from low.

Does anyone know if JZA80 turbo rims, 16x9 +50 offset will fit on the back of a R33 GTST.

I need some 16 x 9 rims for drag duties.

I was using R32 GTR 16 x 9 +30 with 255/50 16 Mickey T"s, but found that I needed too much height in the rear for the tyres to clear when launching.

Or any other 16 x 9 rims that will tuck in with the tyre setup.

Thanks

Just put the rims on only just fit, will be rolling the guards.

Question, how close are everyones tyres to the struts, looks a little to close???

Will 265 help that much??/

offset 40+

Thanks

looks fine..its not hitting ....so what are you worried about...dont matter if its 15mm or 2mm...clearance is clearance

"worked"... Save time effort and potential for damage and don't be a tight @ss

No damage.

Actually I didnt have the heat gun and gave it a smack with the hammer and cracked the paint a tiny bit.

But if you just user a mallet + heat gun you should be fine.

Every place that does it for $50-100 a corner says "50/50 chance paint will crack"

So I mean what have you go to lose?

Use a block of wood wrapped in a towel, a heat gun and a rubber mallet, I had mine professionaly done and they cracked the paint, me and a mate done his with the above mentioned equipment and it turned out fine with no cracking.

You need to do it in stages though.

Save the money for beer.

    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
