Guys,

Im looking at ordering new wheels soon.

Anyone have experience running 19x10.5 + 12 wheels?

Any rubbing front/rear?

Was also thinking about going 19x11 +12 at the rears. Anyone run this before?

On a R33 GTR??

you want the same all round for that.

10.5+12 will be maximum

ofcoarse you can run any brake size with 19s

I've seen brakes not clear 19's on a r34 gtr, he had to get specific 19's but mostly ran 20's. Dunno what brand of brakes they were but 8 pot fronts and 6 pot rears, set him back around $15k I believe.

thoughts on 18x9.5 +22 front 18x10.5 +30 rear?

been reading through pages and pages but haven't found anyone running 18x10.5 +30 on the rear. will +30 be a problem with the strut or inner guard?

i want to run as close to 0 camber as i can

Hey guys,

I have never been completely happy with how my 18x9.5 +22 rims sit on my car.

So I decided to call up the place who did the wheel alignment and get the specs for the camber that they put on it.

Below are the details

Front Left: -2.27deg

Front Right: -1.14 deg

Rear Left: -1.39deg

Rear Right: -3.69deg

Does this sound right? I always thought 3deg camber was something the fan boys did

I'm questioning if he actually gave me the correct info.

Looking at some whiteline camber arms to help correct this.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
