I beleive it;s only the privately owned sites that participate, the BP owned ones don't.

Its 52 $50 fuel vouchers....

$50 wouldnt even fill the tank with ultimate

well yeah not any more anyway.

i thought my fuel economy was getting worse cos i was calculating by the dollar (ie $50 of fuel gets me how many kms)... and i thought wtf, it's getting worse... stupid me got it wrong, it's cos i'm getting less fuel for my buck that's why it's getting worse...

rezz what's japan's prices? last time i went back (dec-04 to feb-05) it was... 129yen per litre? they have great service over there too... :)

Still cheaper than UK and Europe.. I was paying over a quid a liter ($2.39739 /L AUD) for diesel over there - and that was cheaper than petrol.

Anyone think about the wicked GST bonus the govt is getting from these price increases? When fuel was $1.20/L they would have been getting about 12c/L. Now it's $1.50/L they'll be getting 15c/L.

Doesn't sound like much but think that they haven't had to put any effort into this tax increase. Then think why they aren't going to do much about the price increase. Also think that you're actually paying GST on state govt levies.

Now get angry....

I also filled up for that magical 147c/L yesterday, atleast i can say that i set a personal record for money spent on a tank of fuel. Good thing the 31 is fantastic on fuel and i've had a work vehicle for the last 2 weeks or so, i've had a decent run i suppose.

I can only see the price going up from here but :)

    • Hell, I'm sufficiently wary of the ZSS suspension arms, let alone something like a hub.
    • Got it back home and got started pulling the hub off and diagnose the issue. Axle was stuck after removing the 36mm nut so i used a 3 jaw puller to try and push it out and... eH5FXvJ8.mp4   spend the next few hours trying to remove the axle from the remaining hub as it was very much jammed in there when the spindle sheared off. resulting damage as below R53AIy6 - Imgur.mp4   Looks like the was already a stress fracturing in the spindle as can be seen with the darker cracked section My working theory is maybe when the pinion gear exploded last year the shock put through the hub was the initial crack. Then a few events later it finally let go. Just lucky it happened where it did and not 190km/h on the next sweeper or into the hairpin The bearing/hub assembly went in in 2019 and were non-genuine "ZSS" assemblies and no nails were harmed in the process. #BreakHubsNotNails
    • Thanks mate, couldn't find in VIC, ended up ordering one from NSW, getting rwc to get new plates and registration done.
    • Before all the EFR fan boys come in, have a look at: https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-ii-g30-825-58mm/ It also comes in a T4 1.06 divided housing. I would dare say if you want response & also decent power, this thing would chop.   AND apologies, just re-read your post, you've already bought the turbo... whatever you do, make sure you stick with divided housing and proper twin scroll manifold.
    • People have got to stop doing that. ShatGPT is not a search engine. It is a hallucination factory.   I also would recommend the 1.05. The .83 will "work" for you , in that it will be more responsive, but I think you'll find that it won't be anywhere near as good running it out to 8000rpm as the big housing will be.
