Alan and I were only there for an hour or so - we had a ferry to catch.

Was great looking day - and the cars really do shovel down that straight.

Hope everything went well and some fun was had :)

I was behind this car through turn 1 and around Southern Loop.

Around Southern Loop this thing was actually quicker than me but I was as close to his ass as I could be in order to get past him before Honda. Anyways as we were punching out of the exit of Southen Loop - which for me is around 6,000rpm in 4th - so around 200km/hr - this things back stepped out and he over corrected and flew off the track towards the ocean in a farken hurry.

I went and had a chat to the guy when the session finished - the poor car had lost half the paint down the left side from stones in the gravel trap - but he was packing up all his stuff and he was heading home and he was selling the car as he'd seen his life flash before his eyes and wasn't ever going to do it again.

Otherwise it was an awesome day. All of me, Scotsman and Frank set PB's fo the track and after spending so much time recently at places like Winton and doing things like Motokhana's / Dutton it was great to remember just how fast and how scary that place is.

Cheers.
