Electronic Raceport Bov

G'day guys I was wondering who on here has used the turbosmart electronic raceport bov on the skyline? Is there a need for it on a street/track/drag car? Cheers

I was actually looking at buying a raceport for my EFR turbo setup. these thing look great and sound similar to my blitz bov which i like. But i dont really see the need for the electronic controller on our setup.

it comes with one on the turbo? Why not just use it how it was designed to work and spend that money elsewhere?

honestly a conventional BOV is more than sufficient, there's no need for this electronic stuff.

Sounds good to me then , it's cheaper without the electronic solidnoid

well... i grew up really liking that pssh sound ( not a fan of the hks high pitch note, but prefer a lower pitch note like these) yeah yeah, I'M well aware I'm going to spend 250$ for some sound, but oh well,that's my car right ?

I've seen some turbo v8's run two bov's is this because of so much boost? Would I need to used two or is one ok?

I fail to understand the reason the solenoid is on the BOV, does it improve anything? Or does it just make tututu when the solenoid is off?
