http://gcg.com.au/petrol-performance/performance-4/turbocharger-kits/404/404/nissan-rb20-rb25-low-mount-gt-gtx-29-30-detail
if it's this kit then it'll be 2967 or 3067
keen to see how it goes once you have all the supportive mods like ECU injectors and FMIC..

Looks very similar to the kit I got not the same site however. I'll have to double check I think it could be the 2967.

Yea at the moment my car goes into limp mode every time I go over 4,500Rpm so I can't even see what the turbo's got properly, but at the end of this month all that should be solved and I'll have new Dyno sheets to post up. So I'm still waiting to seeing what the turbo has to offer haha.

Garage 7 just finished tuning mine today. Boost is straight off the wastegate spring 17psi and boost controller not dialed in yet as my rear brakes locked on witch put a holt to the tune.

Engine:

S2 RB25DET Unopened apart from cams.

GTSR exhaust manifold

Kando TD06 20G 10cm with 45mm turbosmart hypergate

3inch turbo back exhaust-Kakimoto cat back

Splitfire coilpacks

Tomei pon cams 256 8.5mm lift

Adjustable Tomei exhaust cam gear

N1 oil and water pump

1000cc injectors with top feed fuel rail-Tomei fpr

Freddy intake

600x100x76 intercooler with custom/short piping

Denso intank, 044 external and 2l surge tank

52mm radiator with 2x12inch craig davies thermos

HKS 13 row oil cooler with grex oil filter relocate block

That's all I can think of at the moment. Will be rebooking after the new year for 20+ pound run.

WP_20151214_006.jpg

Retuned today-had a few hiccups early on but ironed them out and Decs got down to business.

Only thing that has changed from above is the pon cams have been changed for Camtech 268-9mm intake and 272-9mm exhaust.

22psi and dropping off to 18psi at top end.

326.9 kw ~ 546.8 nm

Happy with the results, think I will leave it alone for a while :)

Yup please, keen to see how it turns out and btw ditch that 2.5 inch decat and get a 3 inch to match the diameter of the rest of the system lol

Does it drive like standard turbo on low rpm? Good response?

Yea it drives better then standard at low rpm smooth and sounds amazing, just recently had my rear housing replaced as I found out my wastegate was faulty it was leaking and getting stuck open :(.

Haha yea.. anyone have a 3" 100 cell race cat they want to sell me :D would be awesome. Or if you know anywhere online to get a good one.

Not to long till my new Dyno results will be posted up anticipation is driving me crazy. 3 weeks without my baby.

Got invited to a dyno day to eat bbq and do some power runs! Stock coil packs were breaking up at the top but that's no big deal since i've got LS packs in a box, just waiting for the new turbo to show up. 327 bhp 289 ft-lb not too bad for a stock turbo with a street fuel map and no ignition tuning. Hah. Looks like the first run made better tq and had a smoother band but it's whatever. Bottom line is the engine is strong and ready to make f**kin power w/the gtx3076r and new ls coils. This is the first engine I've ever built.

First run made 319 bhp 304 ft-lb torque:

I was running lean so I threw some fuel at it randomly, didn't have much time since it wasn't a tuning session, just for fun power runs.

Second run made 327 bhp 289 ft-lb torque:

Quick update time!

I decided to get some Tomei 256 deg poncams installed along with an adj Tomei exh cam gear and some Kelford valve springs and then get the car back on the dyno to see what we can safely extract out of my setup.

Pretty happy with the final results.

Both the results above are on p98. Just realized I had forgotten to mention that.

"D1 stable" exhaust manifold, essentially a "cheap" steam pipe manifold from what i can tell, 50 mm turbosmart wastegate off the manifold
Madcat intake manifold, essentially a high quality china manifold ( it may even be made in aus ) ( really really good welds )
China spec intercooler,( just jap cooling pro i think ) but with high quality stainless pipe work done.( i will be testing pressure drop next month )

( manifolds would not be making any more power than stock ones, if anything they hurt response.)
( i had 444 hp with stock manifolds with a atr43ss2 )

Slight update, Still having afew issues with the car, however the ross trigger kit is working great!! The intention with this tune was to keep the car safe for the racewars weekend so we stopped at 23psi... really need to get the car back on the dyno and turn it right up so the 6266 can do some work!!
