  1. Hearing that warms my heart. Nice work. Where your engine doesn't breath as well, just add more pressure at a tangent to flow and ensure you're not choking it in other ways. LOL.
  2. I dunno about you, but I still think $330k is insane money for a Phase III GTHO. Regardless of whether it's 50% of the peak or not.
  3. You don't have this trim do you Nev?
  4. Exactly, you don't make money selling late (which applies to both personal and market circumstance). Always sell early.
  5. Aussie (and American) muscle cars was (and probably still is) a massive bubble! Some people really don't understand the concept of 'value'. Oh well, I bought and sold a few (nearly 10) muscle cars during that period.
  6. Certainly is two separate jurisdictions. The similarities are that ACT often adopts changes first implemented in NSW (weight rules anyone?), as well as accepting signatory engineers from other jurisdictions.
  7. AKZ was off in ACT for some time too, but has snuck his way back on the list.
  8. My car is basically smack on average GTR power, which sounds about right... My car is pretty average LOL. Good day . Big thanks for Daniel for finding and Glenn for fixing my fuel pressure! Lucky I ran it yesterday... 15:1AFRs at full throttle at 6k RPM on 18psi wouldn't have been nice for it.
  9. White isn't a colour. I've had both (Series 3 R33 GTR and now a R32 GTR) and the only thing I liked more about the R33 GTR was the Xenon head lights, rear leg room on rare occasion and the fact that the interior was less worn (not the style - fixing wear on my R32 anyway). I guess it was somewhat 'nicer' and I drive my car everyday so that helped. Otherwise, I prefer my R32 GTR in every other way. Handling, size, interior/exterior styling, stance, history.
  10. Shit, from the front your car looks exactly like mine. Nice shots.
  11. My R32 GTR makes 300awkW with 160k kms on it. It's been like that for well over 5 years and since 112,000kms, at the least (as far back as I can trace it). The engines are durable if looked after. Just like rotaries are durable if there's no detonation around and they are looked after.
  12. Seen this car around a lot over the years. Basically the same as my old one, except of course it has those 19s which set it off. Beautiful car, good luck with it.
  13. Depending on your car, these are available on eBay.
  14. Exactly. It's the same sum of parts you bought. I'm not fussed, personally. More bothered with other things. Point remains. Those doing it are dishonest pieces of garbage. It gives a bad rep to imports.
  15. I've ordered the above (as well as channel rubbers previously) so will confirm for those interested in fixing their side window scratches.
  16. Looks good and nice work mate. However good luck with drive ways etc LOL, that's why I prefer daily driving my R32 GTR to my R33 GTR LOL.
  17. I found an ad from the previous owner of my car, trying to sell it in 2005 from Japan (can't find it again now, I saved it on my computer). He had noted it had ~112,000kms on it, IIRC. Then when it was complied - by someone he knew in ACT - paperwork says it was shown has having something like 73,000kms (off the top of my head). Now shows 113,000kms so I think I have to add around 39,000kms to that LOL.
  18. You wouldn't happen to have this trim would you? It's a thin rubber over stainless item. Mainly after the rubber but will take both. Thanks Matt
  19. Agree. All the tampering I have found out about has been done in Australia. And I've bought a genuine low kms car from a Japanese dealer once, too.
  20. I so want OEM Xenon. Fantastic job mate. sinnerstar, what are yours?
  21. Thanks Tony. I sorted this by using a combination of the two steering wheels. The main difference is the way the horn pad works. The later ones have a less defined GTR logo in the centre of them too (I used the early one for this), and are smaller and lighter. Best of both worlds.
  22. The felt I have simply isn't good enough. I reckon it's gonna catch heaps of dust and cause scratching again. My old pads are so worn they can't be blown with high pressure or soaked to bring up again. I've used a part no. from this thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sc...ratch&st=30 And RHD have listed the part for me: http://www.rhdjapan.com/nissan-oem-glass-s...04u00-r32-63242 Can someone confirm if it's the bit I need before I go and order? Picture tells me it may not be... But Deren says it is in his post #46
  23. I bought a modified and unmaintained (air filters, in particular which killed the HKS2530s within weeks of having it) 1989 R32 GTR so it needed work. Once it was all done it hasn't missed a beat. Nice to see you have a 1989 one too.
  24. Looks bloody great mate. Nice car.
  25. R32/33/34 GTRs really aren't that expensive any more. They don't have any inherit faults. They are reliable. Pretty practical. What's the problem again? Congrats mate.
