  1. Don't want to take anything away from the result but it aint 785nm. Dyno was not set to derived torque which is the accurate at wheel reading on mainlines. Its more like 550-570nm which is still pretty stout. am i missing something, it says derived torque on the dyno sheet?

  14. I'm in for maximum dose. No one is judging around here. Except for judging people for having no dose. What you really need is a heaps heavy turbine/comp wheel combo. Wonder how you would go mounting some extra weight off the back of the turbine and compressor nut to keep that bad boy spinning. actually that's a pretty good Idea that I need to bring to market. Dose nuts. Really long and heavy compressor nuts. None of this light weight crap. Lead, or that other heavy thing. I'm all over this. No one steal this idea ok guys.

  17. But really for dose you want a long inlet to the turbo. Wait for the resident dose master to arrive and pass on his wisdom.
  18. not sure what "down the line" means. My question was regarding how are the valve clearances set when you make a hydraulic lifter solid? i havent seen it done, (aside from for dummy assembling purposes, checking piston to valve clearance, definitely not a running motor.)

    worth it is pretty subjective. different people have different expectations and budgets etc. so it is basically impossible to answer your question. Having said that i would say an LS swap would make heaps more sense into a Patrol.
  21. What did you actually pull apart and why.?
  22. Tell builder to use old ones unless noticeably worn. It's not a huge job if you have to replace lifters due to ticking. Not the same as not replacing rod bearings that requires a tear down to re address later. Or plug them ?
