  3. Slap, looking at plugs for variations is a completely sensible thing to do. It isn't going to be super accurate but will show differences. The best would be 6 widebands, is that what you do? Or second best is egt. But even then thats an indirect measurement.

  9. Considering the oil under pressure has nothing to do with the oil cap, the only pressure will be caused by blow by and will be a few psi at most, yes they are safe.
  10. just to clear things up a bit, hopefullly, a tight gap wont cause problems but it shouldnt be required for the amount of power you are making. .5 mm spark plug gap isnt worthy of the concern on its own. It seems like its the worse thing ever reading through this thread. plenty of guys run that sort of gap when required.

  12. What? Why is it running leaner under load than idle? Why running 13.5 at idle.? The difference of 3 thou gap won't fix anything.

  14. So what is your actual question? The Problem you can't figure out? You want to find a plumback blow off valve to suit 18psi?have you tried at all or just hoping others will read your mind and tell you exactly what to do. Your post really doesn't say much, certainly doesn't imply you want to fix things properly and not just do a stock swap over. If this is your first time with a defect get ready for a world of pain on inspection.
  15. Which was an auto? are you using an auto or manual ecu? can guarantee the calibration is different for idle amongst other things

  18. Well no, the stock one isn't rated. But have you considered swapping stuff to get the defect off then putting it back on after? I think it has been done before, a cheeky little trick car guys do.

  20. are you sure you are calculating use properly? should be fill up and zero trip meter. drive around. fill up and record liters used, look at kilometers traveled then do math. i get a feeling that's not how you are doing it?
  21. No way will an additive stop that leak. The part that is leaking is crimped, you can't tighten that. It's done by a machine.
  22. Why would you do that? Just use the walbro. 3076 will do it, but 3540 makes more sense, especially considering you already have it.
  23. I would check for boost leaks by pressure testing and clean the Maf.
