  1. Hello all, Ill be purchasing my new set of rims in the future for my R33 GTST. 18x9.5 +22 seems very popular for the 33 gtst and I know for sure that it is possible to fit a 265 tyre on the rear with that offset, however I am worried about the front as from what I gather it sits out a bit furthur than the rear. So my question is, does anyone have any pictures or info regarding a +30 offset with a 9.5" rim on the FRONT of a 33 gtst? If the +22 sticks out a bit, the 8mm difference with the +30 should keep it in a bit, but I am concerned it may foul on suspension or body parts etc. Its also a bit strange that I have gone through the countless pages on the wheel fitment thread, and some peoples 9.5" +22 seems flush whilst others seems to hang out a bit. (on 33 gtst). One moment im sure +22 will be fine front and rear and now ive just seen some new photos and im unconvinced again. DONT want to run stretchy as hell 225/235 tyres. I really wanna run Federal 595 265/35r18 all round.
  2. Not sure what the exact suspension set up is to be honest, was fitted when I bought it. Theyr yellow bilsteins and blue coloured springs. Someone told me it may be a sydneykid setup but I have no idea what specs that is... P1s were 17x8 +32. Sold them to a dude with a Honda Civic Type R!
  3. Can't be too bad. Kinugawa / Kando Dynamics have really stepped up with some higher quality budget lines lately. Their turbos are the goods, I imagine these lines would be too as they would be the same ones they supply with kits and people dont seem to ever complain about the lines/fittings when they get the kits.
  4. Cars getting paintwork in the next couple weeks finally. Had to postpone it after being delayed with parts for a while but its all steam ahead now. Whats getting done? Standard rear bar, type M pods, series 2 spoiler, viva garage roof spoiler, repainted front lip, removal of the clear reflector things on quarter panel. Cant wait going to look boss! Next on the to-do list after paint: - Paint engine bay stuff in black for maximum ninja - Purchase and fit steering quick release - Purchase Prosport Gauges (oil temp, oil press, water temp) & Triple Gauge DIN holder - Purchase single DIN headunit - Purchase GT3076R, Varex centre muffler & Venom 100 cell cat - Book a tune and fitting of all the above stuff with DVSJEZ - Purchase and fit Gloss black 18x9.5 +22 Varrstoen 3.3.1 (CE28N) w/ 265/35r18 Federal 595... Have seen a guy in the wheel fitment thread pull these tyres off with that offset on a gtst. Hoping too aswell Excluding whatever DVSJEZs work costs me, its a touch over $4000 for all the above things. A fair bit less than I expected after adding it all up! Then it shall be done! I hope..
  5. Lol its been for sale for almost a year mate... No ones gonna pay $1200 for a china package these days. Hell you can get china turbo / MILD steel manifold kits for less nowdays.
  6. UPDATE: For sake of information, the rear bar is a GP Sport G-FOUR item. Couldnt edit original post
  7. Will be MUCH cheaper and reliable in the long run to just sell the car and get a gt-t when you get your blacks. Whatever agreement you made with your dad will surely be more flexible in a few years. In the mean time you could still get some decent suspension / handling components as they will be swappable into turbo models. Same with all interior stuff etc etc.
  8. $200 posted to Port Macquarie, 2444 NSW and I will take it. Let me know if youre keen 0421447425
  9. Grease may be to thick I am thinking now that I start to use my brain a bit. Perhaps pumping it full of engine oil, with a small sump fixed to turbo for it to feed in and out of could work. The oil wouldnt be going through a motor, so it would last longer? The sump could have a drain and fill for servicing... Someone tell me why this wont work before I waste money.
  10. Ready to be flamed for the odd, unrelated question... But I had no idea what section I should post this in, but this is a very odd yet serious question. Im using the centre cartridge, turbine wheel and turbine housing from an old turbo for a project not really related to engines/ cars etc. The turbine wheel will not be exposed to heat levels as high as it would straight out of the motor, and I dare say it would be spinning considerably slower. No compressor wheel/housing. There is no real way to plumb oil or water coolant lines to the turbine without spending a considerable amount of time / money. Can anyone think of a way to keep the turbo from breaking? I have no real serious knowledge about lubrication systems, but could a high temp bearing grease be used perhaps? Any info or ideas would be appreciated...

  12. Ive seen heaps of 10" wide wheels on the front of gts-t. Here is a nice find I saw the other day on boostloosin 235 wide tyres, doesnt specify the sidewall but they are federals so shouldnt be too hard to go work out. http://www.boostcruising.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=2261507&s=e7067997dba08b249c458112f7c0022e
  13. After some pictures of some fatter rubber on r32 gtr wheels, or any 16x8 in general. I love the r32 gtr wheels on my car atm, but the standard 225/50 just looks boring / weak bla bla. Kumho Ku31 are available in 245/50r16 and a few brands have 245/45r16. Have seen some 255/55 drag radials but cant find any decent pics of 245s... If anyone with R32 GTR wheels has something related to contribute, then share some pics! Cheeers
  14. Dont want them personally, just curious!
  15. Anyone know what these wheels are?
  16. How much for the plastic steering column surround thingy, pending it has no holes or blemishes? Posted to 2444 Port Macquarie? Let me know
  17. Wow and the dirty 21" r33 stockies didnt give it away first lol?
  18. 9.5" +22 from what I understood was pretty bang on flush on gts-t guards. The black 33 has 9.5" +22 front and +12 rear. Not afraid of a bit of guard work. My old 31 had 8" +0 which required some loving to the guards. More importantly just after some ce28n / gtst samples!
  19. Hey guys, My last picture request thread was super helpful so hopefully this one is too. I have a 33 gts-t and am seriously considering getting some CE28N replicas for it. Make and model in questions is Varrstoen 3.3.1. (18x9.5 +22). I dont need to be lectured on fake wheels either, I cannot afford real ones period! I am after anyone who has pictures of CE28N or their replicas on 33 gts-t only. Theres dozens of pictures of GTR's but because of the larger guards, wheels can look totally different. Ive found GTS-Ts need more dish to avoid looking thin. Ill get the ball rolling, ive found two so far. The first doesnt really apply as it has wide-body fenders and wheel spacers but ill add it anyway. ZPdrift R33 Heres some photos of a SAU members car I found in the R33 thread These are the varrstoen replicas, however in 19" rather than 18". So if anyone has any more they want to share with us then please post up. There has to be more ce28n / gtst drivers out there! If possible please post up specs as well. Would be super awesome if anyone has some shots of 9.5" +22!! Straight, down the car shots to show fitment too would be super too. Thanks SAU

    Speeding

180kmh in wet conditions with a full car is beyond retarded / insane. You do not deserve a licence seriously. Do not even bother trying to appeal that. And I bet you would get more than 12 months if you try too. A guy I worked with was caught doing a similar speed in DRY conditions ALONE and managed to lose his licence for two years and has to start from his Red P plates again (nsw).
  21. Haha no it wasnt open. Its getting Varrstoen 3.3.1 wheels down the line. Theyr a ce28n replica. 18x9.5 +22 Theyr last on the list though. Still have some body work and engine / exhaust stuff first!
