Try half a can of contact clean on it first. Worked for me.

They won't fit a 370z with akebonos either, the eBay ad states a 320mm rotor when akebono equipped Z's and v36 rotors are 355mm.

Do you have any photos of the pipe work on that calsonic unit?

I have tried to call Varrstoen with no luck either. The only number that appeared to be connected with Varrstoen was actually the Rota distributor. The Rota representive said they have no affliation with Varrstoen.

One thing to note is that even the brake pads have to be factory items for compliance. I replaced the pads in my V35 with some EBC's before compliance, to which i was told they had to be removed and replaced with what ever came factory on the car.

Installed the Kakimoto, its much louder than the Apexi that was previously installed.

If the turbo is unbalanced enough for the compressor to touch the housing, it'll start grinding the vanes down and the housing wall. What ever doesn't get caught in the intercooler will be going into your motor.

Who did you get to install and cost?

Happens 5-10secs after engine has started? I believe its the Abs doing a self test/purge thingo?

Hey Nick, If your stagea is anything like mine, the rear windows do not have tint film on them. It's tinted glass (privacy glass in nissans terms) and im pretty sure every m35 came stock with the same, so there isnt even an option to get less tinted glass.

Check brake fluid levels.

Sounds like afm might be playing up. Disconnected it, if it idles and drives better under 2000 rpm id say you have found the issue. Give it a clean with contact cleaner, if that's doesn't sort it, it may be time for a new afm.

I did it over a weekend, the noise became so annoying after the first day I removed it reverted back to stock.

I haven't had to do much at all regarding fixing things. Radiator started to leak, so that was replaced. Front rotors were warped when I bought the car so they were replaced. I've replace brakes, suspension and exhaust purely for performance gains. Everything else is normal maintaince such as oil, rad fluid, plugs.

A question to those with M35's, Have you left the under body plastic beneath the engine or removed it? Any problems with removing it indefinetly? i find it such a pain to remove any time i want to have a poke around down there.

I installed my brace today, althought it was a bit to wet to really give it any mumbo around corners it felt a lot sharper on heavier turn ins. Im looking forward to dry drive. Easiest modification i have done yet!.
