  1. Don't look at the Walbro 255l graph, no one should be stupid enough to use one of those! The GSS-342 pumps are the 255l HP line on the graph you posted and still even flow 175l/hr at 90psi Plus as you said any skyline running less than 2 bar would be more around 70psi pressure
  2. Well I use a Kinugawa (or Kando Dynamics or Kamak whichever you want to call it) which is under $1000 delivered and made in Taiwan
  3. Did the head gasket appear blown when you pulled it out?
  4. 200L per hour at 80psi, so in twins would flow 400L per hour On a 6 cylinder that's enough to feed 1100cc injectors! Not exactly nothing...
  5. You wouldn't be able to offer anything different to what is for sale on the market at the moment!
  6. He might have purchased the car modded or just given cash to a workshop to mod it for him... To the OP; That is what it is meant to do, vent excessive pressure in the cooler piping when the throttle body is closed
  7. Why? Pointless... Plus why not just use HKS 2835's, they will come close but are total dogs of a setup
  8. I look at this another way. If you have twin pumps, one dies without you warning. Cars seems to run fine but is running lean and pops the motor. Running a bigger single pump and it fails you will know about it as the motor will stop Mind you if we ever get E85 on pump in WA i will probably be forced to run twins, twin in-tank walbros will probably get the tick
  9. Talk about trying to re-invent the wheel... a few times over Hopefully it all works out well!
  10. Neo turbos on RB20's are not as great as you would think... They are in fact fairly laggy! Either stick with just a normal R33 RB25 turbo or skip to a HKS 2530
  11. That's the plan at the moment
  12. I wouldn't recommend that turbo for a RB20, it's not the TD06 I was talking about... That thing is massive and you wouldn't be very happy with it, I've sent you a PM with some more info
  13. I have actually confused STP with the SAE correction which when we put on was giving very happy results... STP I would assume is standard, temperature and pressue?!? So it might not actually pump up the figures as much as I suggested!
  14. Not the biggest fan of highflows on RB20's because they are usually too laggy for the power. Because RB20 heads are different, both the greddy and jun genuine or copy plenums do not fit... There are a few other options but they are all fairly expensive!
  15. A second hand RB25 turbo will come very close to 200rwkw with decent response and cheap to boot Otherwise a HKS GT2530 is the way to go, although you will have to find one second hand which is not always that easy!
  16. Well that graph has STP correction on so I would imagine it's only really making about 250rwkw without the correction inflating the figures... RB20's generally make 20-25rwkw less than RB25's and usually take 4-5psi to make that power, so on the same boost I would expect around 35-40rwkw less
  17. Ah fair enough, hopefully if/when we get E85 on pump I will go to straight E85 but I'm sure my 740cc's and single 044 are going to be on the limit! You should change to Simon-S14 haha http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/75309-username-change-requests-here/page__st__1080__p__5308943__fromsearch__1#entry5308943
  18. Failed to make it down to the drags this week because I tried to reinstall the rear stock suspension to get a bit of squat in the rear end and because of all the alignment changes the bottom seat of the spring hits against the upper camber arm! So I had a bit of a hissy fit and went f**k it I'm not going down at all and left the rear end in bits and on jack stands... Going to get my shit together tonight and put the coilovers back in and then probably just raise the rear end a inch or 2 and run it like that down the drags with some MT ET streets, probably won't be a good time due to getting kicked out as soon as you run a 11.99 or better but will be good to see how high the mph will be. Fingers crossed for at least a low 11 at 130+mph
  19. I would say it would only make around 290rwhp or 215rwkw on a RB20
  20. What kind of extra injector duty did you need going from E43 to E85?!?
  21. Ebay, it's branded autobahn88... So far so good, between it and the heat wrap on the dump it smoked for a while but now has cleared up and is fine
  22. Can't believe I missed this whole thread while I was in Canada! Someone should have PM'd me for comment haha The graph of the 3076R is running the same type of fuel E42 and a few psi less boost BUT he has Tomei poncams where mine are stock. It actually was down a little on power (due to timing issue) and should have made closer to 455rwhp on the day. On the same hub dyno it makes around 500rwhp where mine makes 520rwhp No doubt the Garrett comes on a little earlier, on the road he gets the equivalent boost at around 200rpm earlier in 4th gear... The flip side to the coin is mine holds power past 200km/hr while his turns over around 180km/hr Once again both were on same fuel, E42... I can tell you both cars on the road are very nice to drive, even on the tightest turns at a motorkhana type event you would not really have any complaints about lag. If people want a honest opinion on the 2 just ask The Kando T67 is a slightly bigger turbo that makes more power top end and more power for longer while the Garrett GT3076R comes on boost sooner and hence has better mid range... The GT3076R used to be my turbo pick for a RB25, the reason the other one car has one is because I convinced him it was the best turbo for the job. I was a jew so I bought a Kando T67 and saved myself about $1000 over the Garrett and was very impressed by the results. They both have positives and negatives, I would call them a draw haha Mind you I have seen a graph of a Trust T67 and it looked more impressive than both of them haha
  23. Very easy to get a RB25 NEO motor out of a stagea and slot it in... Mayhem brings in tons of them and they are fairly cheap
  24. You say that but there used to be someone who drifted a R32 with a RB30ET in Perth... Pretty sure he must have come from the east though, I don't know any West Aussies that would be that stupid! So to the OP, yes it has been done but no don't do it because it's a shit idea
