  1. I like the work you've put into your block GTRPSI! I might have to do some more erase arch into my engine build
  2. I might give it a go then and see how an rb sounds with a Gilmer drive
  3. My motor will be using an electric water pump, and no air con aswell, but it will still be using the Powersteering pump, so I guess I'll only be using a a belt from the crank to altonator and an extra pulley for the Powersteering
  4. Ok guys my machine at least a about to balance my motor and asked what kind of belt drive I'm going to use on my motor , out of curiosity I did a search on Google and found a company that makes them rb's www.endevourengineering.co.nz/ My questions are, has anyone used that rb kit or another brand if there is? Is the any benifits of using the gilmer over the genuine v grooved belt? Will this kit fit into a r32 GTR? Cheers
  5. That's all I have of a picture of the muffler on the rear, no other pics sorry, and sorry for the late reply .

  8. Wow that awesome work! Do you sell them?
  9. My Builder said if the bottom end lets go or breaks he will supply a new bottom end for me because he wanted to try these modifications to see how they go, he's also my dads good mate so I'm getting it done for near nothing , so I thought I might aswell go all out on it then, yeah it's also getting the crank scraper and windage tray of the 26 aswell I didn't no nitto made the oil squirters in the rods, but I had a set of precision Rods so that's why we used them
  10. There was talk about drilling a little hole on each side of the under side of the piston for the oil to cool down the tops of the piston the same as a 26 piston, he was also talking about drilling a tiny hole throw my h beam rod so they have bore squirters, but he wasn't to sure if it would change the strenght of the rod.
  11. Cheers! I'd say it's going to get a fairly hard time I'm not one for mechanical sympathy, but spending so much on the motor this time around I reckon I'll use my head instead stead of my right foot haha
  12. I put these pictures in the tas section because that's were I'm form but is pretty dead in the tas section. so here's my my block its a r31 series 2 block my engine builder machined my block and fitted rb26 oil squirters out if my old motor in to the rb30 . We did a few tests on a A8 block that was stuffed before going ahead . Im pretty happy with how it turned out
  13. Haha awesome! Good to see you've still got it! Love the fj!

  18. This might be a dumb question but what is the difference between a ported 's' cover and a ported 'h' cover?
  19. I called powertune today and there happy to swap over my 6766 (still in the box new) for a 6870 and I pay there difference between the two, I'll be putting it on a 26/30 but I've got to finish building my motor. I'm going to get the divided .83 rear housing . Just have to wait for the turbo to make its way over to aus pretty sure?
  20. Is the test for the 6766 somewhere in these pages ? I want to see the difference between the .81 and .96 rear housings
  21. This is my NA beast 186 and triple 48mm dellortos, it's not my skyline but my first car, I'll get her going after my GTR motor is built
  22. If I knew a gt42 would hit full boost by 4500rpm I would of brought one instead of my 6766 for my new engine oh well
