My Maloo is an Auto, transmission wouldn't change down gears going up a rise under acceleration. Serviced 2 weeks back. So I gave the loud pedal a push to force the change and low and behold cunstable cranky pants coming up the rise I was going over as it kicked back. Say no more

80kms in a 60 zone. $409.00 and 3 points. Yep it was me and I have no legal reason for travelling at that speed sir. I am a supporter of the police and the job they do. However every now and then you get C#ntstable cranky pants. There is just no need for the shit attitude. Need to do more regular psych evaluations in my opinion. It's like I was the guy rooting his misses while he's been on duty.

Spray some contact cleaner on the circuit board and plugs . 20yrs old might be something dry. Each globe should light separately from each other so the fault has to be a common (why I thought a fuse). Earth wire somewhere? No chance you've damaged the circuit board I hope.

1. Plugs mated up correctly (pushed in till secure). 2. Fuse If you didn't play with the wiring I highly doubt that's your issue. Although check for anything that has electrical tape wrapped around the wiring for the cluster.

ah - re-reading you say pads and rotors. Sometimes the long pins that hold the retaining clip in place are not secured (knocked in properly) and work loose. Then the retaining clip can make a clicking sound as the rotor moves. Just a thought.

Have a look at the brake pad retaining clip - anyways add it to things to look at Had any work done recently anywhere near where this new noise is coming from?

Boot and Bonnet lip

Engineering/Compliance certificate is an issue. Don't fancy a trip to Sydney (EPA) and the bother of trying to meet the standards is a real PITA. Fine if you never get pulled over but if you do the choices are it's engineered or returned to stockish. Selling would be a nightmare also because if it goes interstate it cant be registered without issues. And my final thought would be if I'm not a dyno queen or after serious power for straight line or track racing it would be a real shame to go single on such a great condition GTR. Stock / stock looking GTR's pull the good dollars. Although your right I was going Single but not any more
