I'm 28 In the Netherlands, people drive past the cops on the freeway (130 km/h limit). Some areas are strict though (I got fined for 10 over hahaha I was in a group of 5-6 cars travelling the same speed). Of course up there, the amount of cars is a lot less and the amount of hoons is far far less (I saw none). On my P's, I had an R31. I used to do some "testing the LSD" by trying to launch it, but a 25 year old RB30E can get the car hustling. I've taken a few corners faster than the posted signs, but was always alone on the road. But the most fun and skills gained was on track days. The amount of "hooning" in Aus seems to be quite large and subsequent "campaigns" by media outlets and people's mindsets have created the situation in our country.

Sell wheels and buy wheels that fit within the guards. Get adjustable upper arms to adjust camber. You may get away with adjustable bushes (e.g. Whiteline). You may have to get new suspension (or second hand rear struts, but who know what will happen to your handling).

Think it's the cable that goes through the firewall and into your cluster. Pull the cluster out and you'll see it.

When my 32R popped an intercooler hose, the car ran but ran really shit. Still sort of driveable. When my GTS-t dropped a turbine wheel (turbo exhaust wheel), the engine ran fine but no boost, so was slow and running super rich.

Maybe if the ECU detects a problem, it disables launch control?

See if you can find Michelin Pilot Sport 3, or Falken FK452/453, or Hankook V12 evo.

There was a recall for the 1.4L turbo cars. The ABS could randomly crap out or something like that. Your model might be excluded (can't remember if it was for auto only), best check with a dealer. My brother had a blue SRi almost same as yours, his brakes failed (pedal went hard) at an intersection and smashed into a car. A couple of days later, he got a letter in the mail telling him about the recall. Sorry to be a bummer, but would suck to buy a car then have it randomly try to murder you (or sell your car and have it try to kill the new owner). Good cars though, very zippy on boost, does awesome mileage, cabin is insulated really well, very low road noise. Sucky automatic programming though (which this car doesn't have!).
