  1. Yep - mine does that one light, then 3 seconds later, the other comes on. Might be able to pull the switch apart and clean the contacts... or put up with it like me because i'm lazy ha!
  2. Whoops sorry gordo just reread your post and you already said they're cast...
  3. whoops, just read your post properly gordo... you actually said that they're cast... sorry about that
  4. Didn't even know it was not legal... can you elaborate, Rezz?
  5. Umm, gordo they're both cast rims... I'd like a set of R33GTR rims as track rims, but they won't clear the brakes I want, so probably going R34s I personally like the idea of keeping it 'factory' ie. even though it's an R32GTR, it still has GTR rims
  6. That looks great Al! Awesome colour choice Now you won't want to drive it in case of stone chips!
  7. They're the paper type gaskets - they look like cardboard with foil on them and then dimpled (hope you know what I'm talking about) If you're installing them, do yourself a favour and get a set of genuine nissan turbo-to-dump metal gaskets
  8. umm... entire floorpan. forget it.

    Oil change

sorry mate wasn't meaning to be harsh. The fact that the oil turns dark isn't a bad thing - it means that all the particulates that are floating around your motor are being cleaned and contained within the oil, rather than booting around causing additional wear. These particulates are too small to be captured by any oil filter anyway. Don't forget that oil does three things" 1. lubricates everything 2. carries away abrasive worn particulates to the filter, and if the particulates are too small, then suspends them in the oil until you do a change 3. cools components I would be more concerned if my oil was still pristine after 5,000kms of hard driving when i dropped it at a change - tells me the oil isn't suspending the crap.

What did you expect it to do, apart from filter the oil? give you an additional 30rwkW?
  12. This morning i got up as usual and proceeded to go about my routine to prepare to go to work. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted one of those flash new 'vine ripened' red tomatoes, and thought, hell, with my new set of knives I could chop him good... so when the lights went on, there I was, ready for 320RPM (repititions per minute) for the chopping... Inside of 10 seconds, it was all over... I chopped the red tomato good, he didn't know which way to look, I showed him!! hahahahahaha

 I posted yesterday saying that i don't think you can get Mobil 1 filters and you should just grab a Nissan one... where'd it go? Would go Nissan anyday before Ryco
  14. damn! easy on the accusations! hope you get your $$ or goods! goodluck
  15. Driver behaviour is more important here than powerful cars. Younger drivers are often more immature and do not have the complete physiological skill set yet to deal with 'issues' - how many of us when younger would 'go for a drive to let off some steam'? Maturity goes a very long way. But back on topic of this article... and common sense... Common sense tells us that a 11 second GTR will get to 'dangerous' speeds more quickly, and is harder to control at the limit, than, say, an EA falcon. People always 'read' articles the way they want to interpret them, what I'm saying is that you would have to have shit in your eyes not to see that a faster and more powerful car puts an inexperienced driver at greater risk, faster, than a shitter. At the end of the day, if you are stupid enough to drive any car, be it powerful or not, at high speeds with no experience, feel free to kill yourself - we don't want you on the roads anyway. Sounds harsh, but true. BUT, don't take innocent people with you. 2c
  16. Drive both see which you like more. Don't worry too much about 'modding it', as any improvements you do on either car will ultimately make you very happy. as for R32GTRs... see my sig...
  17. Umm... so you're 20 and on your Ps and they didn't say anything about that??
  18. gotta be happy with that Jamie!
  19. so... were there any cars there
  20. Mate I'm happy to work on your GTR but no guarantees that it will: 1. still have the same components 2. still work at all So, about lending me that purple car...
  21. So roy is your manifold cracked or what?
  22. Where does 'too soft to push it at the track' fit?
