  1. When you put your new turbo in did you prime it?
  2. When I did this I didn’t notice any difference. The R4C feels the same wouldn’t even know I changed my lines
  3. So had our first day on the track. Only got a couples laps in before the rain but was well worth it. Ute was loaded to the hills for our 3 days only real good video we got today will try and get more over the weekend IMG_0525.mov
  4. Doesn’t really matter the American scene will just make a new category as it’s seems that the 35 chassis has 15 different groups that you can run in to hold a record.
  5. Once he is done braking records it will be put back to gt3 class and be used as a circuit car.
  6. Had my first drive on the Hoosiers and man there bouncy. Didn’t drive far but wanted to get a feel for them. I did notice that when washing the car the side wobble is crazy and am hoping that means they will hook up good
  7. Might not be super rare but was hard enough to find one Blitz speedo
  8. So been busy making the house pretty and in turn I’m allowed to spend money on the car. Mirrors turned up and as did the door cards. Bit the biggest change are these fat boys There sitting on a Advan racing 15x8.25 with a 20offset. No spacer behind them. There only 1/2 inch off the rolling diameter of my 18s I run. real happy with Sit in the flares real nice
  9. Seen that scale before and at a guess that’s for normal road driving. 37psi on a race track should only be seen in boost levels not wheel pressure. 27 psi looks better but most of a land yachts will see over 1400kgs with all the mods we have done to them so that’s kinda scary they say 34+psi in there tyres hot
  10. Your tyre pressures seem very high. On the road I run 28 all round but when we get to the track I drop them down to 25 cold. That’s with nt05s and 123s, I did run them at 30 once by mistake and it would blow the tyres off every time I drive to drive out of the corner. Also a good wheel alignment will help 1000s but not your road driving one but a track one, my guy I use sets up a couple ss2000 cars and does what you ask. We have a big track day coming up and I’m more worried about not having enough downforce over the rear end
  11. I run a similar setup in my rad and oil cooler. At idle it won’t go passed 86 and after 7 hard laps I’m lucky to see 95 and after a good 45sec burnout it will hit 105 bit drop down real quick. Those are all water temps unsure what my oil gets to. Guessing you have an aftermarket ecu? Can you log in to it and see what your fans and set to come on at?
  12. Last night we had our house warming slash partners 30th birthday party. It wasn’t a party unless there was a shed skid. mine and our friends 323 13bpp IMG_0500.mov IMG_0499.mov
  13. Wasn’t talking to you like an idiot. If it came across that way I’m sorry. Still got a lot of room to breath with the hx40, it’s still running a 12cm rear from a 35/2, once the 16cm rear comes in we will swap the 2 over and go again. COVID has put this car so far behind its a little frustrating. MSE turbos hasn’t had any gear turn up so there is no point changing the injectors for nothing’s. Turbo was only ment for 600bhp and we have pushing 100 passed that
  14. Some kinda of 30/25 hahaha no way man this is 25/25 matching heads and motor from factory. Secrets are in the build haha. Nothing crazy here just making sure each part helps the next part. I do have a full list some where in my draws
  15. As you can see I’m a pro as video taking guy but as you can see when the button is pressed and held it won’t rev passed the rpm is was set at but it will still make boost IMG_0496.MP4 IMG_0495.MOV IMG_0494.MOV IMG_0493.MOV
  16. So he is back at home in one piece (if you dont count tyre rubber falling off). After 3 months bouncing from shop to shop to shop we have him settled down and asleep now. i didn’t get to show you guys the new diff cover so here it is great bit of kit from greddy holds just under 2.5l of oil so it should make the diffs last a little longer. This time I went for a 4.3 nismo 2way still have the 4.1 nismo 2way there for a spare. Car wasn’t built to do 300kph but more like 250kph on a race track just means that I’m pulling 3300rpm at 100-110kph but for the acceleration that it has gained should lower my 1/4 mile times over running a 3.9. Now to the numbers part that everyone wants. So as you can see low boost well not really low boost but waste gate pressure at 14.5psi the car makes 375wkw and a crap load of torque not like the old low of 398wkw but feels a lot faster off the line and to a speed. High boost tho 467wkw is massive and I haven’t even been tempted to flick the switch yet. Conditions will have to be 110% for me to hot that power as the old one was only 444wkw but this power comes on 500rpm faster with the help of the new exhaust and still goes all the way to redline but does die off a little bit that’s due to the 12cm rear housings on the HX40rs yes a 40 with a 12 on it. It’s a mse turbos custom to suit my cams and exhaust mani and the way I wanted to make power this will be changed at a later date for a 16cm rear to see what it can make on pump. Power at the engine is pretty bloody good to. So Queation can I tell people it’s a 500kw car now? We also go a new style of launch control. We have a button on the steering wheel that when pressed at a given rpm will move the rev limiter to that set rpm. So, if I rev the car up to 5500rpm and press and hold the button, it will move my limit to 5500, as long as the button is pressed the car won’t rev pass set rpm but can still rev freely from 1000-5500. Makes launching the car 100000 times better as when you dump the clutch you can leave your finger on until traction is made then release and you should be off. On that note is you set it to 3000rpm it will still build boost. Will take from videos tomorrow so you all can see it in action. Apart from that still waiting for parts to arrive but have been cleaning him for the last 4hrs as it was long over due and more cleaning to be had tomorrow.
  17. Your right but when the Reno starts to pay off you get this IMG_0484.mov Give me a couple hours to do a big post but that should keep you going
  18. Been a bit slack with the car sorry been doing home Renos while the car has been away but some news. car is on the dyno right now and it’s making 453wkw on 26psi. Changing the plugs to colder and gapping them as it had a miss. It’s making more power on less boost. Picking it up Saturday and it should be home for more than a week this time. It’s also all booked into chrome so will see what it’s like on the track. Will post pics and dyno sheets once I get them
  19. You need to rack fittings that go to an6 and one pump fitting that goes to an6 then an8 from pump to reservior. Hardest part it making sure your long enough so a lot of measuring
  20. Im changing all my lines to AN high and low pressure side. It can be done
  21. so new short shifter and brass ball turned up today. Car should be back from work shop next week then off again but the tuners are way behind so won’t have the back for awhile but I’m used to that. Will get a video of car running when I get it back. Also won’t be able to install any new engine mods as there way behind but will be new fuel reg and pump and ecu in and have it running by chrome which is in August that also means no shed skids
  22. So with the news of e85 leaving my shores and e100 prices to see around $1500 for 200L we have pulled the pin on a e85 tune but will get all the parts needed installed just in case. Been talking with Steve about upgrading my rear housing to 14cm to see if we can pump the boost up and see if we can’t see 650hp. Apart from that it’s down at the shop getting diff re done AGAIN couple new lines here and there then will be off to Auckland for a tune. Hope to have car back by June 20 as we are having our house warming ( covid rules permitting) and wanna do some shed skids
  23. I have Bosch 1000cc making 444rwkw on 98 so bumping them up to 1650 and running e85 we wanna see around 550rwkw. Also got to get the car today and man it’s loud like real loud even had 2 cops tail me for abit but didn’t get pulled over on a side note I hate driving this car, after every drive my mouth is real sore mouth. So it goes in tomorrow to get new alt put on diff rebuilt again, new power steering lines and a new clutch line then back off for another tune oh and a wof
